Great features, but.
I bout this faucet new from Amazon 5years ago for $450.
Since that time the following parts failed:
1. Solenoid assembly
2. Stem assembly
3. Magnet deteriorated
4. Tip broke
Invested additional $250 into replacement parts.
No more, complete junk.

Rusting
MODEL#: 9159T-DST
We installed this Trinsic (matte black) faucet (MODEL#: 9159T-DST) in our kitchen remodel about ~ 3 years ago. No complaints about the touch feature which is awesome, however, ~ 1.5 years back, the gap between the faucet body and the faucet head started growing. The gap appears to be due to a lot of rust-looking crud. There are several other reviews and comments that mention this problem so this appears to be a design flaw for this model Honestly did not expect to have this kind of an issue with a faucet that was this expensive. Delta is there a solution to this?

Not so great faucet
Wish I had chosen the one with the sensor that comes on without touching when u put your hands under. After turning on and off u have to wipe it off which often makes it come on when u do not want it to

Like it. Installed 5 yrs, few issues
Love the touch on-off. Have had dripping issues before, which cleared up. Don’t recognize any magnetic docking. ComplInt: nozzle does not reset to stream when turned off. VN come back on as spray. Have had faucets that reset, and prefer that feature.

Rusted inside and falling apart after 3 years
I love the look and function, however the inside of facet where you detach the pull down hose has crud coming out and plastic pieces falling apart. For $800, I feel like a sucker.

Touch2O Doesn't Work
I am replacing this faucet after using it for two years. The Touch2O sensor is impossible to work with - sometimes it will turn off without a touch while other times you have to touch it multiple times to get it to work correctly. In addition, the batteries barely last 3 months before needing replacement - there is nothing worse than having to crawl under the sink to replace batteries when you are in the middle of cooking.

Very good faucet.
The hot water is forward which is a little disconcerting as it’s backwards of most other faucets. Beyond that, it’s an excellent faucet— easy to install with very clear directions and it works quite well.

Delta Trinsic Faucet
The Champagne Bronze finish is absolutely beautiful. Not brassy like the Koehler and Moen faucets. Loving the touch on off feature also.

Less than 3 years magnet is a.rusted.mess.
Less than 3 years old. For the price it really is not good. Cheap 40 dollar faucets have lasted longer than this highly priced item. What is the warranty on the magnet ?
It.cost me.about 500.00 and it is made with poor quality materials. Wish I knew that before buying it. Delta is not what it used to be.

Why is there a black ring at the bottom of this beautiful faucet???
Delta should get rid of the black ring at the base of the product...

Great faucet
Well designed and functional. Pull-down is smooth and doesn't seem to get stuck as others do. My only complaint would be that due to its tight curve, it tends to splash back a bit on the counter more than others, but this is really minor.

Electrical issues
We installed the faucet and the electrical power is not reliable and stays on for about a minute and then disconnects. We have to reach under the sink to play around with the wires and if we are lucky, we get it to turn on again. Only to shut off minutes later. So we have no water..:due to electrical issues. I have yet to contact the vendor or manufacturer yet but I hope it’s a fast and easy fix.

Touchless works GREAT... for 18 - 24 months, then DOES NOT!!
This faucet causes more angst and arguments in our home than any other topic. The touchless feature does not work. There is nothing more annoying than cooking with a kitchen sink you cannot turn on, or trying to do dishes, with a sink that does not turn on. I see from the comments we are not the only one.

wish I'd never bought this
My builders talked me into this and I thought it was a nifty enough idea. Sometimes it decides to be hot and then not, for no apparent reason. It also turns itself on. Most recently (and the worst) is the pull out feature; whatever housing that the magnet is supposed to help retract the hose inside the faucet has fallen out. It's a mess.

Flawed finish.
The finish on the faucet is not perfect (and it should be for that price). There are two flaw markings.

Would buy again!
This faucet is high quality. The color is gorgeous, looks very glamorous. Not fake like some golds can look.
The only thing that takes getting used to is how to operate the touch feature. It
Can be a little finicky at times. Overall we are very happy

Great Revision To Their Touch Kitchen Faucet Design
This faucet is a slightly darker Nickel finish with a bit of a gloss to it. Think a combination of gun metal. it does not match the Houzer soap dispenser I also installed beside it in the existing granite (though I'm find with it as the handle designs are identical between the two.
Installation will take some time, if you've got experience with faucet installs, it won't present in any problems. Proper operation is dependent on install quality. I bough the RP64070 plate and AC adapter EP73954 and both installed without issue. The solenoid that switches water on and off is not a soft-valve-close design, so that it doesn't shake lines like the previous design. Also, the human touch detection is flawless as I've had no false triggers and it consistently discerns between my fingers turning it on and my fingers adjusting the neck's aim. The light that changes color from hot to cold is a nice touch that others have appreciated (if you have long lines and you're waiting for the water to reach temp you can just glance over and check).
Good purchase overall.

Touch control is great; service is excellent.
We love the touch control, which keeps the manual control from getting gummed up during food preparation and pan washing. Service and support from Delta has been outstanding when we've needed to replace a part.

This model Looks great but the touch system is the best part. I’ve had this faucet for a few years now and when I go to someone else house and use theirs it feels so outdated.

Great Appearance and ease of use
As a DIY, I installed the faucet. Had an issue with the faucet turning on and off by itself. Calling the help line and sending pictures, the issue was easily diagnosed and the faucet works perfectly.

Great Concept. Imperfect execution.
We had this installed a few weeks ago. It accomplishes our color objective, but it is not the best faucet ever despite the $600+ price tag. The features are not executed well, though for the most part they function as the manufacturer intended.
Pros: Color matches our new kitchen, adjustable water stream (full water or spray), finger-touch on-off system, light indicating actual water temperature coming out of nozzle.
Cons: Accumulates brown water spots within minutes, on-off handle is very sensitive and hard to adjust to desired water pressure (probably because it is so small), one-touch system often turns off water flow when you grab the nozzle to pull it down to spray out the sink.
Last comment about the one-touch on-off system. Even if it were to work as desired, it would be a bad idea to get this feature on a faucet if you have more than one person using the kitchen at a time. The temperature/flow setting my wife uses is different from the setting I use, so we find that we have to constantly adjust the pressure and the temperature when we are both in the kitchen. This makes the poor ergonomics/ oversensitivity of the smaller temperature control/flow rate control handle rather annoying.
If we had to do it again, we would probably buy something with a better on/off handle, and not worry about the one-touch feature.

Does not work
I have many Delta faucets in our new home which all work great but the touch faucet is more annoying then useful. We have two touch faucets one in our kitchen and the other in the prep kitchen and they both don't work. They constantly shuts off when I need it on. Sometimes I have to tap it many times to get it to even come on and then as I am using it will shut off the water before I want it to shut off. We also had to replace the batteries after only a few months and when the battery goes out you have no water. I wish I would have gotten the no touch faucet it would have been less of a hassle. It was a waste of money.
