I feel so helpful in not wasting gallons from old lazy habits of letting the water run as i do things in the kitchen. I love taping if off instantly and when i come to the sink with paint brush i just tap on - it's GREAT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect We have had this Delta Trinsic Touch2O faucet for several months now and are generally quite pleased with it. Of course, although it appears solidly and well made, only years will tell how well it lasts, which is a major issue with nearly all manufactured items these days. Operationally it has a good feel, the single lever works smoothly and the spout swings easily, but not so much that the slightest touch would send water where you do not want it. The pull-out spray hose extends and retracts smoothly. The manual switch to turn the sprayer on and off is conveniently located but designed so that it is not easily actuated accidentally. The faucet will turn on and off with the lever like a regular faucet whether or not batteries are installed or the batteries are good. If the batteries die while it is operating, it will shut off. If it is turned on accidentally in the middle of the night or while you are out of the house, because you left the lever in open position and your cat touched it with his nose, it will not run indefinitely. The only minor negative for us is the volume of water flow: we have good water pressure, but find the maximum aerated cold water flow slower than necessary to fill a large pot as quickly as we would like. On the other hand, if the water flow is at maximum (where you may normally keep it) the force of the sprayer will bounce water out of a pot and out of the sink if you are not careful. So, for the price, a pair of hidden but easily accessible set screws to adjust water pressure for the two modes would have been an excellent feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from exceeded expectations This faucet exceeded expectations. Like other reviewers mentioned, the force of the water is strong - this is a bonus for us. I really like the fact that when selecting "stream" or "spray", the faucet stays in that mode until you change it (some faucets revert to "stream" every time you turn them off.) The on/off sensor takes a little getting used but, then, is fabulous.

I like the touch activation rather than the motion sensor other brands use. great help when preparing meals cons: only one... would like a transformer option instead of the battery pack

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Faucet When I ordered this faucet I had some guilt about spending the extra money for the "touch" feature. Soooooo glad that I did. My husband and kids even agree that this is the coolest feature to ever hit the market. It makes me very aware about how often our hands are dirty/sticky. So nice to use the back of your hand or your wrist to turn on the water. Coincidentally I'm a custom cabinet designer and I will be suggesting this to all my clients.

Makes food prep easier and cleaner, though it does take a little time getting used to. Biggest problem now is I touch every faucet and expect it to turn on! Guess I will be replacing more.

It took a while to get used to it and I still turn the water on/off by accident at times as does my cat Calvin. I would highly recommend this as a high quality, durable product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fantastic faucet!!! this faucet is fantastic! we just remodeled the kitchen and i searched and searched for a simple and clean designed faucet (most have pretty bad lines on them) and this one fit the bill well. but the touch20 feature is the best thing to come along for a long, long time. its so wonderful to just turn the faucet on and off by touching it. it saves lots of water when washing up. also helps keep cross contamination down as you dont have to touch the faucet handle with raw meat contaminated hands then touch the contaminated faucet handle with freshly washed hands! just tap this faucet with the back of your hand! the spray head is also perfect to wash out a sink with. since it points straight down and is very small its great to just pull out 3-4" of hose straight down to easily spray out the sink. most spray heads are large and come out at angles and are tough to use for a quick rinse out of the sink and you end up getting more water on you than in the sink at times! but this one is a perfect for this and works like a charm. the magnetic spray head holder is also a neat feature and works great, no clipping or pressure fit of the spray head, it just sucks itself back up and holds itself in place. could not be happier with this faucet, its really worth the extra money to get the one touch feature! its rare to see all these features line up so well in a product like this these days as design these days tends to be copy this and that and throw it together in cad, done. this product had some though and work done on it. cheers jeff

At first, my husband thought this faucet was too pricey, but given the overall cost of our kitchen remodel, the purchase was incidental. The faucet has been installed for two weeks now and works perfectly. So glad we spent a bit more for this item!

What is the height of the handle from the countertop?

We have a breakfast bar behind our sink. The clearance to the backsplash at the countertop is 2.5 inches, which is sufficient for the Trinsic faucet. However, there is a half inch overhang from the breakfast bar. This overhang begins at 5 inches above the countertop. Consequently, the clearance is only 2 inches at that overhang. Will this interfere with the operation of the handle?

No this should not interfere with your clearance as I had 2&quot; for my facucet to the back splash

Can the on/off handle be reversed to the left side during installation&nbsp;

Kevin, Thank you for your question. We recommend installing the faucet with the handle on the right. The handle operates by tilting away from the faucet to turn on. The vertical (back) position gives cold water and rotating the handle forward provides hot. Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse the movement, so if the handle is installed on the left, it will rotate backwards. Also, reversing the installation would move the LED light to the back of the faucet. Best regards, Jon

Can we install this trinsic single in Europe?

Hi Anna, Thank you for your question! The faucet can be installed in other countries, however it may require supply adapters. It is designed to connect to 3/8&quot; compression fittings. Please also note that the warranty will not apply to faucets installed in Europe. Best regards, Jon

Can you toggle between stream and spray? Or do you have to turn off the faucet to turn off spray mode?

Thank you for your question PS. You can toggle between stream and spray without having to turn the faucet off. Touch2O&reg; Technology is a sophisticated technology and understands the difference between a touch (1/3 of a second) or a grab (more then 300 milliseconds) and will not turn off when toggling through stream and spray. Install with lever handle in the front

Can I install the faucet with the level handle in the front instead of to the right? If yes, would it change the location of the blue light for the touch2o motion?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9159T-DST can be turned so the handle is in the front. However, the blue light will also move. Also, the hot and cold will be side to side to operate.

Every once in a while the water just turns on. &nbsp;Sometimes in the middle of the night. &nbsp;I worry that we might not be home and it would flood. &nbsp;I do change the batteries.&nbsp;

I am having an issue I&rsquo;d like some help with please. Sometimes when I touch the faucet to stop the flow of water we get a steady drip (sometimes heavier than others). When we use the handle to stop the water, no drip. What mechanism needs attention?

Hi, Vanne! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. Leaking from the faucet in the touch off mode usually comes from debris inside the solenoid. You may flush the solenoid by following these next steps. 1. Turn the water supply by putting your handle in the manual off position. 2. Disconnect the sprayer hose by removing the blue retaining clip. 3. Place a bucket under the male adapter coming out from the solenoid. 4. Run water into the bucket for 2-3 minutes. Debris located inside the solenoid should be flushed out after completing these steps. If this does not correct the leak, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358.
