PRODUCT FEATURES
Touch it on. Touch it off. Whether you have two full hands or 10 messy fingers, Delta® Touch2O® Technology helps keep your faucet clean, even when your hands aren’t. A simple touch anywhere on the spout or handle with your wrist or forearm activates the flow of water at the temperature where your handle is set. The Delta TempSense™ LED light changes color to alert you to the water’s temperature and eliminate any possible surprises or discomfort. Delta® MagnaTite® Docking uses a powerful integrated magnet to pull your faucet spray wand precisely into place and hold it there so it stays docked when not in use. Delta® ShieldSpray® Technology cleans with laser-like precision while containing mess and splatter. A concentrated jet powers away stubborn messes while an innovative shield of water contains splatter and clears off the mess, so you can spend less time soaking, scrubbing and shirt swapping. Delta® faucets with DIAMOND™ Seal Technology perform like new for life with a patented design which reduces leak points, is less hassle to install and lasts twice as long as the industry standard*. Kitchen faucets with Touch-Clean® Spray Holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger. Electronic parts are backed by our 5-year electronic parts warranty. *Industry standard is based on ASME A112.18.1 of 500,000 cycles.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unacceptably poor water flow. Purchased 10/23. Started well but flow at the nozzle is barely more than a trickle now. I’ve cleaned and soaked the filter and nozzle head in a vinegar solution countless times but the flow just continues to decrease. It’s now unacceptable as a functional kitchen faucet. I’m in the market for a replacement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Delta Leland Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet Purchased and paid to install in July 2025. Leaks from handle so they sent me a new cartridge but I need to pay some one to install. Crazy to believe a relatively expensive faucet would last less than 1 year.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Faucet dead when batteries die Could not believe my faucet would not work when batteries died!! I have wanted a touch to activate faucet for so long (I hate trying to turn on the faucet when I have raw meat on my hands). I was so excited after installing this, which, by the way, was pretty easy. Then to have it not work after only 2 months because the batteries died!! During my husband's birthday party! I was scrambling g to find more AA's wherever I could find them, and after only a month I cannot use my sink AGAIN. I am going to try the C batteries and fingers crossed it will last more than 2 months. I will repost if it does work, Delta needs to make this known

Q&A

With model 9178T-AR-DST which finish, the Arctic Stainless or the Spot Shield Stainless would match better with GE profile stainless appliances?

The GE stainless has a hint of gold color in their stainless. Should we just try and match the stainless steel sink or the appliances?
Asked by: Mark
Hi Mark, Thank you for your question. Arctic Stainless features cooler metallic tones, with more blue in the color spectrum. Our SpotShield Stainless finish has a warmer tone. Best regards, Jon

Model 9178T-DST. I do not get enough water pressure on my kitchen faucet as it was before. Is any part that I should change or has to be clean inside some where taking it apart? Hope that someone can help me with this issue.

Asked by: Rick
Hello Rick, Thank you for your question. We would recommend flushing the supply lines of your faucet. To flush out the valve body, so that these parts do last as long as possible, please first turn off the water supply to the faucet. Gather an adjustable wrench, some towels and a bucket. Disconnect the hot side Innoflex line. Move the handle to the full on position, middle temp. Point the hot side Innoflex line into a bucket. Turn on the cold supply valve full. Let a gallon or two flow into the bucket. Shut off cold supply. Check bucket for debris. If no debris, empty bucket and run one more time. Move handle to off position. Reattach hot side line. Turn on both water supply valves. Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social if there is anything else you need. My faucet has a low water flow. How do I increase the pressure?

Asked by: Ken
Hi, Ken! Thank you for your question. The faucet gives a 1.8 gpm. If you are getting less than a 1.8 gpm flow rate, we recommend to flush the line to make sure no debris is clogging the sprayer. You can also soak the sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mixture for an hour to clean. If you need any assistance with this, please call our Delta customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. Best Regards, Rosanna

My faucet is hard-wired, but we also have batteries in the battery pack for when our power goes out. My question is, are the batteries being used along with the other? Do I need to take them out and only use when the power is out?

Asked by: Spud
Hi, Spud! Thank you for your question. The Delta 9178T-SP-DST faucet only uses the back up batteries when the electricity is out and the A/C adapter is not being used. We recommend to keep the back up batteries in place. Best Regards, Rosanna

Asked by: nicholas
Hi, Nicholas! Thank you for your question. The Delta 9178T-SP-DST Faucet sprayer assembly is non-metallic. This helps prevent heat transfer that could result in scalding and reduce weight. Non-metallic parts are also beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode. Please know that all of our products are tested to ensure long-lasting use and have a Lifetime Limited Warranty. My faucet has auto shutoff after 4 minutes so how do I set to leave the faucet dripping when it gets cold to keep water from freezing

Asked by: Gina52
Hi Gina52, Thank you for your question. We would recommend putting the Delta Leland Pull-Down Kitchen 9178T-DST faucet easily into the manual mode, by removing the lid of the battery box while the faucet is running. This will allow you to run water from the faucet, without the 4 minute shut off feature. For putting the faucet in manual mode permanently, please refer to page 17 of the maintenance and installation manual for your model. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/92834%20Rev%20F.pdf Best regards, Tanya
