Touch feature became posessed and now faucet leaks
I've had this faucet for over 5 years. The touch feature became possessed and would just turn on all by itself when no one was even close to it. I did all the trouble-shooting that the Delta website recommended (clearly lots of people have had similar issues). Eventually I gave up and disconnected the touch feature. But now the faucet is almost impossible to turn off. If you don't slam the handle just right it drips. So basically, every time I go to turn if off it takes three or four tries. Additionally, it is extremely difficult to find the exact right balance of hot and cold. Once you fight the sweet spot you don't want to turn the water off for fear you'll never find it again. So you end up wasting a ton of water. It was great when it worked but too much money to just have to replace it after five or six years. I'm not even going to bother with the warranty to get the leak fixed because I have so much trouble with the temperature balance.

Easy to install, follow instructions and use You Tube video. Install took only 30 minutes. Problem was taking old faucet out, 3 and a half hours for that.

Works great! The only issue we have is that we occasionally have silt release in our pipes (city water) and that silt clogs the faucet head filter which greatly reduces flow. Fortunately, it's about a 5 minute, easy job to clean (after you do it once or twice).

Best faucet in my kitchen in the past 20 years
No fingerprint stainless
The flex hose is very flexible with length to spare.
Small spray head very easy to hold and control.
I splurged and went with the electric touch option. Sooo useful! It takes a few days to master. The water temperature light is also a nice convenience.
Gave 4 instead of 5 stars because I don't like the plate sprayer/maybe produce washer.

Great features
I bought this three weeks ago and I absolutely love it. Great replacement faucet. The only problem when it was installed was the little light did not work and they are replacing that. Enjoy the fact that I can touch it on the neck or the handle have it shut on and off instantly.

Installed the faucet about a week ago and loving it. Nice upgrade over the existing moen (that started leaking after 5 yrs) that was in our house. The faucet seems well designed and engineered. Instructions and tools provided made install a breeze, besides squeezing myself under the sink. Highly recommend.

With a little care and finesse my old faucet hardware came right off and this Delta was a great replacement! Very nice, elegant and functions beautifully!
Just got this and had a professional install, worth the extra money to do that. Faucet is great! Word of caution, be sure the sensor wire is free of contact to anything but where it is supposed to be connected. The plumber accidentally left it wrapped around one of the water supply lines and it kept turning on and off by itself. Once it was corrected, it works beautifully!

Can I rotate the on/off handle portion to the front to use? My backsplash is too close to rotate the hold cold lever when it's turned on.

Thank you for your question. The minimum clearance to back splash for the Delta 9178T-RB-DST is 2 1/2" (64 mm). We recommend installing this faucet with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle on the front, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature.

Thank you for your question. We recommend installing the side mounted handled faucets with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle on the front or left side, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, Delta does not manufacture any kitchen drain assemblies in the Venetian Bronze finish at this time, that would work with the Leland Touch2O Pull-Down Kitchen 9178T-RB-DST faucet.

My faucet has a low water flow. How do I increase the pressure?

Thank you for your question. The faucet gives a 1.8 gpm. If you are getting less than a 1.8 gpm flow rate, we recommend to flush the line to make sure no debris is clogging the sprayer. You can also soak the sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mixture for an hour to clean. 2 questions - Does the touch on/off work if the faucet handle is in the off position, the on position or both? If the handle is in the off position, at what temperature setting does the water come on?
