LED issue
Our 9178T-DST was installed in November 2015 by a plumber as part of a kitchen remodel. We continue to have issues with the LED light feature. The same plumber replaced a part under warranty within the first year and said he was told that part (the ring with the indicator light, I believe) is not to get wet?? LED feature worked for a short bit and has been out since. New batteries have not solved it. Wire is not loose so I believe connection is good. The LED was a factor in buying this faucet but has been disappointing. Please advise.

Nothing But Trouble with this Faucet!
I bought this pretty faucet for a client. The handle is sticky. With small children it is a disaster because the temp is so hard to control. Seems that the water is always either too cold or scalding hot. I replaced the faucet and the same problem remained. Even though Delta replaced for free, the plumber cost several hundred dollars. Twice. Skip this faucet!!!!

Sporadic Functionality
We had this faucet installed in April as part of a full kitchen renovation. For the first 6 weeks or so, it worked phenomenally. I loved the ease of leaving the physical faucet lever to the "on" position and using the tap to turn it on and off. I love the LED indicator light that shows water temperature. I also like the auto-off feature for when the water is running for a long period to prevent accidental overuse.
However, since June, we have been having problems with the faucet turning on randomly in the middle of the night, it shutting off sporadically during use. When using the faucet, taps will not always turn it on or off. Sometimes you cannot get the faucet to turn on at all, using the physical lever or the tapping feature. I spoke with customer service who made suggestions about moving the wires and solenoid to make sure there were no crossed wires or other causes to these behaviors but the problem has not been resolved. Very disappointed from what I know it can be and was when we first had this product installed- it WAS awesome but now is a big headache.

Love the touch feature!
We had been looking at faucets for awhile. Couldn't find anything special. Then I heard about the lifetime warranty with Delta. I ordered it online and we couldn't be happier! I also love the temperature changing LED light. It's awesome and we are thrilled with it. Absolutely love it!!

on/off Touch Activation Does NOT work, I Installed it ( Correctly after the fact)
they sent a new Faucet and I had a Plumber install the replacement one, because
I thought I may have installed the original one Incorrectly, Plumber installed the replacement on, just Like Installed the original one, and Still Doesn't work, so I would not recommend this Faucet

I have had this faucet for a year and it stopped working properly 5 months ago. The water turns on and off by itself which is very frustrating when you are trying to wash dishes or when you can hear it from the other side of the house. I was really excited about this purchase as all the fixtures in our house are Delta and we have had no issues but this is a big disappointment.

Great faucet and features
I order this faucet a few weeks ago, and received it super fast and had installed. It looks beautiful in my kitchen sink. I like the features such as stop at touch, and the new water spout feature that reduces splashing of water. I love the color and the style, and it is very well made. Totally recommend it.

This is the 4th faucet I have installed, and with the added Shieldspray technology, it’s awesome to use. The touch works great, the faucet stays clean, but the Diamond technology really makes this a solid upgrade. No leaks and solid fit the first time around.

Bought the first touch 5 years ago. Worked ok buy this newer model is much better. Heavier and a better battery pack. Looks great and I like the weight instead of the magnet that kept losing it's power. I haven't used the sprayshield yet so we will see. All in all VERY nice.

Works great, and saves water.
This is my first touch faucet, and I like it even more than I expected. In particular, when washing dishes, I find I save a significant amount of water since it's so easy to turn the faucet on and off.
Installation was easy as well - kitchen faucets keep getting more DIY-friendly over the years.

When my contractor went to install it, he noticed the wire to the battery pack was tor so I returned it....but the damage made me change my order to a faucet that wasn't so fancy - just a normal faucet, no touches feature - and a Kohler, which I have always had good luck with....

Loved it at first!
Loved this faucet it first. The touch to turn on/off is great and something I use everyday. I also liked the LED at the base that indicated water temperature. Blue for cold, purple for warm, and red for hot water. This feature was very handy for gauging water temp and preventing scalded hands. Alas, this LED became erratic and eventually quit working after 6 months. The touch feature still works but I sure do miss that LED.

Love this Faucet!!!
We installed this faucet in our new home and just love it! (We also purchased the item so it could be operated from an electrical outlet rather than batteries.) We love the touch on & off and how the color changes on the front panel which indicates the water temperature. The pull out feature is also handy when I rinse out the trash can or have a large pot to fill. It's a very good looking faucet too. Definitely recommend this faucet!

Can I rotate the on/off handle portion to the front to use? My backsplash is too close to rotate the hold cold lever when it's turned on.

Thank you for your question. The minimum clearance to back splash for the Delta 9178T-RB-DST is 2 1/2" (64 mm). We recommend installing this faucet with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle on the front, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature.

Thank you for your question. We recommend installing the side mounted handled faucets with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle on the front or left side, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, Delta does not manufacture any kitchen drain assemblies in the Venetian Bronze finish at this time, that would work with the Leland Touch2O Pull-Down Kitchen 9178T-RB-DST faucet.

My faucet has a low water flow. How do I increase the pressure?

Thank you for your question. The faucet gives a 1.8 gpm. If you are getting less than a 1.8 gpm flow rate, we recommend to flush the line to make sure no debris is clogging the sprayer. You can also soak the sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mixture for an hour to clean.
