Q&A
Most single handle kitchen faucets have the handle on the right. Are there any Delta kitchen faucets that come with a handle on the left
Asked by: kmel
Hello Kmel,
Thank you for your question. We recommend installing the side mounted handled faucets with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle on the front or left side, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets.
You can compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button will no longer indicate the correct temperature.

Tanya

Can you recommend a drain that would match the bronze finish?
Asked by: Lisa
Hello Lisa,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, Delta does not manufacture any kitchen drain assemblies in the Venetian Bronze finish at this time, that would work with the Leland Touch2O Pull-Down Kitchen 9178T-RB-DST faucet.

Can the touch20 technology be hard-wired instead of using batteries?
Asked by: Mark
Hello Mark,
Thanks for your question!
If you have a touch faucet manufactured in 2015 or after, or you have the Generation 3 Solenoid, you will be able to use the EP73954 power supply to connect your Touch 2.0 Technology Faucet to the house electrical current.
I hope this helps!

Model 9178T-DST. I do not get enough water pressure on my kitchen faucet as it was before.
Is any part that I should change or has to be clean inside some where taking it apart? Hope that someone can help me with this issue.
Asked by: Rick
Hello Rick,
Thank you for your question. We would recommend flushing the supply lines of your faucet. To flush out the valve body, so that these parts do last as long as possible, please first turn off the water supply to the faucet. Gather an adjustable wrench, some towels and a bucket.
Disconnect the hot side Innoflex line. Move the handle to the full on position, middle temp.
Point the hot side Innoflex line into a bucket. Turn on the cold supply valve full.
Let a gallon or two flow into the bucket. Shut off cold supply.
Check bucket for debris. If no debris, empty bucket and run one more time.
Move handle to off position.
Reattach hot side line. Turn on both water supply valves.
Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social if there is anything else you need.
Best regards,
Tanya

What is the difference between Leland model #: 9178T-AR-DST and Model # 9178T SP-DST and the one at Lowe's Model # 9678T- DST?
Also
Can I order any Delta Kitchen faucet you make through Lowe's, or just select one's?
Asked by: MAUREEN
Thank you for your question, MAUREEN! 9178T-AR-DST and 9178T-SP-DST are the same faucet, but with different finishes. AR is a finish code for Arctic Stainless, and SP is the finish code for Spotshield Brushed Nickle. The 9678T-DST is the bar/prep version of the 9178T-DST. It has the same design as 9178T-DST, but has a shorter height. Certain retailers such as Lowes and Home Depot, have Delta products manufactured exclusively for those retailers. We can not guarantee if a specific retailer has an item in stock. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact us directly.

My faucet has a low water flow. How do I increase the pressure?
Asked by: Ken
Hi, Ken!
Thank you for your question. The faucet gives a 1.8 gpm. If you are getting less than a 1.8 gpm flow rate, we recommend to flush the line to make sure no debris is clogging the sprayer. You can also soak the sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mixture for an hour to clean. If you need any assistance with this, please call our Delta customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST.

Hi, Jill!
Thank you for your question. The Delta 9178T-Ar-DST Faucet sprayer assembly does have a removable aerator that can be unscrewed counterclockwise from the face of the sprayer with the RP50815 aerator wrench. Once removed, the aerator, or even the whole sprayer can be soaked in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water for an hour or even overnight to clean debris.

My faucet has auto shutoff after 4 minutes so how do I set to leave the faucet dripping when it gets cold to keep water from freezing
Asked by: Gina52
Hi Gina52,
Thank you for your question. We would recommend putting the Delta Leland Pull-Down Kitchen 9178T-DST faucet easily into the manual mode, by removing the lid of the battery box while the faucet is running. This will allow you to run water from the faucet, without the 4 minute shut off feature. For putting the faucet in manual mode permanently, please refer to page 17 of the maintenance and installation manual for your model.
