I need to leave this faucet dripping to prevent my water lines from freezing. But the solenoid keep turning the water off after a few minutes. How do I keep it dripping to prevent the pipes from freezing?

Is it normal for the faucet to drip when not in use? It drips at least 1 gallon / hour.

We have had the Leland faucet (9178T-SP-DST) for a few years now. We love it for the most part. Lately though the water flow has reduced significantly. When I take off the spray head, the water flows with normal pressure. Can you help?

To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you&rsquo;ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. I notice that the delta models that have a ball like handle, Overland/Leland, control hot water by pushing the handle back while the L shaped handles, Dominic/Charmaine, control hot water by pushing the handle forward. Is this by design or am I mistaken?
