Rated 1 out of 5 by from Touch feature is horrible We have had this faucet for just at 3 Years now and can not stand it. We noticed the touch feature starting to have issues after about a year and we would just change the batteries and it would help some. Now however it doesn’t matter on the when you put batteries in the touch only sometimes works. Not only does the touch only sometimes work the faucet will randomly not turn on at all. You can move the handle out, try different temps, leave the handle out and just try to touch it to turn on and it won’t. Thank goodness I have a drinking faucet next to it so if I ever need water right away lll always have it. We are looking at new faucets. I would never recommend this faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality This seemed like a great product ... at first. I bought this faucet 3/2013 for over $400. I know it has been five years and I'm sure Delta wants nothing to do with this review, but customers should beware. Avoid this product. During this time of ownership, I have had to replace the sprayer head once. BUT moreover, is the same as other reviewers ... the RUST. I have tried to dry the sprayer head to prevent further degradation of the metal and magnet. I have tried leaving the sprayer head pulled out a bit so the hose and faucet head can dry out. I have tried to use CLR to remove the rust. I guess if I was the only one using the faucet this may have helped a bit. I literally have pieces of the faucet falling into the sink and down the sink drain. I'd think that my now, Delta would have fixed this issue, but reading the other reviews, it appears not. Delta is a good company and is certainly innovative and the consumer is driving that along - just hopefully not by buying two-plus products when one should suffice ... at least for more than 5 years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Was Great...Quickly Turned Bad Bought this kitchen faucet new for our new kitchen. Initially worked very well, but soon after the touch feature stopped working. Delta was great and sent out new electronics (appeared to be a redesign) which I installed and the touch feature has been working well since. The issue now is similar to other reviews. The rust that appears on the extension hose and the “powder” or “brown dust” that is dropping out of the fixture. The detachable sprayer will not retract now and it looks like the magnet has degraded. Overall I was expecting much much more from what I believed to be a high end unit. We went to a plumbin supply store as opposed to a big box store so we could get a professional grade fixture. Although this unit seemed great up front, it hasn’t held up well at all.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Less then Four Years Later! When we build our house in October 2014 we picked out all the finishes and went with the Delta Cassidy faucet in our kitchen, about three years in the seals began to almost rot and we seen small leaks from the end of the faucet. It is almost to year four and the faucet will not stay attached and leaks brown dust from around the seals on the top I hope Delta will stand behind the product we have them through out the house and now in our new finished basement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do NOT recommend this product This faucet is very nice to look at, however the product does not function well at all. We purchased a new home and this was the faucet that was installed by the builder. The faucet worked for a few months, then we discovered a battery was necessary to keep the faucet working. However, even though we've had to replace the battery within 1 year, now the faucet leaks, and the water flow is extremely low. Very dissatisfied with this product.

DOES DELTA MAKE A 3.0 GPM PULL DOWN KITCHEN FAUCET? HOW ABOUT A 2.5? WHICH ONES?

Asked by: Jack
Hi there Jack, Thank you for your question. All Delta Pull-Out/Down Kitchen faucets come with either 1.5 or 1.8 GPM flow rate. We do not make any 2.5 or 3 GPM flow rate unit do to local and state plumbing codes and policies. Best regards, Tanya

Should the red LED be on during normal use? Sometimes the red LED is on and sometimes not. It is not blinking. My mother in law has the same faucet but there is a blue LED during use. Where are the instructions about this?

Asked by: RyanfromIowa
Hi, RyanfromIowa! Thank you for your question. A red light on the LED light base indicates hot water in use. The red light can also indicate the batteries do need to be replaced. Best Regards, Rosanna

The red light was blinking on my faucet and I changed the batteries but it is still blinking and has moments where a solid red light will be visible - can you help?

Asked by: Ruwe1
Hi, Ruwe! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. We recommend to reset the LED light wire and battery pack. To do this, disconnect the LED light wire from the solenoid. Disconnect the battery pack. Wait a full minute. While you are waiting a full minute, you can check batteries and see if they are in good condition, even try new batteries. Make sure they're all in the correct direction and tightly secured in the battery pack. After a full minute, reconnect the LED light wire into the solenoid and then reconnect the battery pack. Wait another full minute. After the full minute, you can then check your faucet and see if you are getting a blue light, if not please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. . Best Regards, Rosanna

On the specs sheet Rev E for Cassidy 9197T-RB-DST, it says dual function wand shield spray for kitchen model only. When searching for this model, on-line retailers all say this model only has traditional stream and spray. What does "kitchen model" mean?

Asked by: Rain Flower27
Hi, Rain Flower27! Thank you for your question. The 9197T-RB-DST does come with the traditional stream and spray sprayer assembly. ShieldSpray™ Technology for the 9197T-RB-DST is not available until Spring of 2018. Best Regards, Rosanna

Delta: Why is this listed as an "Electronic Faucet" under your technology filter which appears to mean proximity activated, but that feature is not mentioned anywhere in the description?

Asked by: Barb99
Hi, Barb99! Thank you for your question. The 9197T-DST is a Touch2O® Technology faucet. OurTouch2O.xt® Technology Proximity feature is only available on some of our Lavatory faucets at this time. Our apologies for this confusion. Best Regards, Rosanna

I have low water pressure with cold water only. Just started coming out slower. Hot water flows our normal pressure. What could be the issue?

Asked by: JCSmith
Hi, JCSmith, Thank you for your question and I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing low flow with your Delta Faucet. The low flow you are describing is most likely the result of debris in your supply lines or faucet. Over time, common water debris will settle in the house supply lines. Anytime the water is shut off to a portion of the home, this debris can become dislodged and will move through the pipes to be caught by a faucet. Local construction or the changing of the seasons can also cause this. Flushing the supply lines through the unit should remedy this situation. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. If you need further help with this process, please contact us directly and we can walk you through the procedure. We are available at 800-345-3358 (prompt 2, then 3), Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm and Saturday, 9am to 6pm CST. Best Regards, Rosanna

What does a solid red light mean when faucet is running

Asked by: Smitty
Hello Smitty, Thank you for your question. A solid red light on your Delta Cassidy Kitchen Pull-Down 9197T-DST faucet, usually means that the solenoid valve is open, water temperature is greater than 110°F (43°C).The red, flashing light means the batteries need to be replaced at the battery pack.
