Touch it on. Touch it off. Whether you have two full hands or 10 messy fingers, Delta® Touch2O® Technology helps keep your faucet clean, even when your hands aren’t. A simple touch anywhere on the spout or handle with your wrist or forearm activates the flow of water at the temperature where your handle is set. The Delta TempSense™ LED light changes color to alert you to the water’s temperature and eliminate any possible surprises or discomfort. Delta® MagnaTite® Docking uses a powerful integrated magnet to pull your faucet spray wand precisely into place and hold it there so it stays docked when not in use. Delta® ShieldSpray® Technology cleans with laser-like precision while containing mess and splatter. A concentrated jet powers away stubborn messes while an innovative shield of water contains splatter and clears off the mess, so you can spend less time soaking, scrubbing and shirt swapping. Delta® faucets with DIAMOND™ Seal Technology perform like new for life with a patented design which reduces leak points, is less hassle to install and lasts twice as long as the industry standard*. Kitchen faucets with Touch-Clean® Spray Holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger. Rated 1 out of 5 by from touch fails and disables faucet no water at all This was part of our remodel been used for about 3 weeks. Worked great then quit all together. No light, no touch, and disables manual faucet so we get no water in the kitchen sink. Can't cook, can't wash hands, dishes, or anything. Need a bucket to rinse the sink as it failed in the middle of cooking. Scrap that meal. Why fail in a completely disabled mode. Please fail to manual use at least. Even disconnected the wires as the troubleshooting recommends for manual usage only. That did not enable manual usage. Tried the online troubleshooting and no impact. Checked battery voltage and was fine. AC fine, not touching metal. What is with that these are insulated wires if they are so sensitive they can't touch themselves or any metal buy shielded wires and build a proper electronic system. This is not inside a computer case after all. Even computer wires can touch each other! I want this technology out of my house. It is just a faucet after all. I do not want to do electronic maintenance on hyper sensitive wires under a sink inside a cabinet on the floor. Not an appropriate working environment or an appropriate place for this kind of tech.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Faucet inexplicably stops working Worked fine for a year or two. Touch feature became inconsistent. Then, the faucet would invariably become inoperable. How can I fix this? I changed the batteries but that doesn't seem to be the issue. I'm not a plummer. Didn't think I'd need to decipher instructions just to get the water running. Is there a simple fix?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Touch Feature Sucks! The basic faucet functions fine and is stylish. However, the spray head doesn't have enough arc and when pointed straight ahead just almost sprays out of the sink. The major complaint is the techie feature of the touch sensor. I thought when I order this item that might be a neat feature, now that I have it I wonder what was I thinking. First of all since I've installed it I find we really don't have much need for this feature. It's a good thing we don't use it often because it doesn't work well. I've tried all the fixes recommended by Delta and troubleshooters online and it works for a short time but as soon as you put the wrong item under the sink or move the sensor wires it goes haywire. Now we have to play tap, tap, tap games with the faucet to get it to come on. Take my advice don't pay the extra money for this feature it just leads to frustration. This review wants to know if I would recommend this product to a friend, I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from broke after two months The solenoid in the faucet broke after two months of use.The plumber advised us to turn all the way off when I was not in the kitchen so it really did not get much use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty or Poor Quality Loved the faucet until it suddenly stopped the water flow and now its down to a trickle. Called a plumber and he suggested replacing the faucet with a standard faucet or just bypass the water regulator associated with the touch system. Obviously after spending this kind of money on the faucet I am not too inclined to purchase a new one. Unfortunately my loves the design of this one so I am stuck with the touch faucet with the touch feature disconnected. Not what I expected when I purchased this during our kitchen remodel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the touch faucet and temperature sensor We have had this installed for about a year and have loved this so much. Installation is a breeze. At first, the touch was a bit hard to get used to, but after maybe a week, you pretty much can't imagine not having it. It is so nice to just tap the faucet that is over the sink so your wet hands don't leave water on the countertop where the handle is.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good out of the box but unusable over time We bought in Dec 2017 and were very happy for the first few months. Unfortunately over time cheap construction renders the faucet useless. The top of the battery compartment can't handle the pressure of the internal springs and continually pops off over time (and once it happens there is no going back). The top connects the batteries to the faucet - so once it's broken, the faucet won't work. A $700 faucet rendered useless by a 30 cent plastic part...

Thinking about a cassidy 91977 faucet for existing installation. Have control hole  and faucet hole, plus spray and soap dispenser hole Wish to know options for covering existing holes in champaign bronze.

Asked by: David
Thank you for your question, David! The 9197T-CZ-DST has an optional matching escutcheon plate, RP71545CZ that will fill three holes. Since this model has a pull down wand, it will not allow for a separate sprayer and would work with a soap dispenser off to the side. Otherwise, the RP3816 Hole Cover is the only cover that we make and unfortunately it is not available in Champagne Bronze. Best regards, Edward

Can you eliminate the batteries and just use the adapter. How much is the adapter?

Asked by: Patricia
Hi Patricia, Thank you for your question. Yes, this faucet can be used with the adapter only, but we advise keeping the batteries attached for back-up. Best regards, Tanya

I have low water pressure with cold water only. Just started coming out slower. Hot water flows our normal pressure. What could be the issue?

Asked by: JCSmith
Hi, JCSmith, Thank you for your question and I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing low flow with your Delta Faucet. The low flow you are describing is most likely the result of debris in your supply lines or faucet. Over time, common water debris will settle in the house supply lines. Anytime the water is shut off to a portion of the home, this debris can become dislodged and will move through the pipes to be caught by a faucet. Local construction or the changing of the seasons can also cause this. Flushing the supply lines through the unit should remedy this situation. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. If you need further help with this process, please contact us directly and we can walk you through the procedure. We are available at 800-345-3358 (prompt 2, then 3), Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm and Saturday, 9am to 6pm CST. Best Regards, Rosanna

hot vs cold set up

for the cassidy single handle kithcen faucet, is the water supposed to be set up to be hot when handle pulled down / toward you or cold when pulled down / toward you.

Hi JP, Thank you for your question. When the handle on the model 9197T-AR-DST is pulled down toward you the water temperature should get hotter. Thanks, Dave

How do you control water pressure?

Asked by: Lightnin
Hi Lightnin, Thank you for your question. The water volume on the model 9197T-AR-DST is controlled by pulling the handle motion to the right with closer to vertical being low flow and increasing as the handle moves to the right. Thanks, Dave

On the specs sheet Rev E for Cassidy 9197T-RB-DST, it says dual function wand shield spray for kitchen model only. When searching for this model, on-line retailers all say this model only has traditional stream and spray. What does "kitchen model" mean?

Asked by: Rain Flower27
Hi, Rain Flower27! Thank you for your question. The 9197T-RB-DST does come with the traditional stream and spray sprayer assembly. ShieldSpray™ Technology for the 9197T-RB-DST is not available until Spring of 2018. Best Regards, Rosanna
