delta 9959 or 9159 faucets

the hole in the granite is only 1-1/4" wide. will this fit?
Asked by: diana
Hi Diana, Thank you for your question. The recommended hole size for the model 9959-DST and 9159-DST faucets is 1-1/4" to 1-1/2". Either faucet should fit your 1-1/4" hole. Thanks, Dave

Would this faucet size work for a 24”x18” sink or would the larger kitchen size fit better?

Asked by: Opjoks
Hello Opjoks, Thank you for your question. The Delta Trinsic Bar/Prep 9959-AR-DST faucet is a smaller version of the kitchen unit 9159-AR-DST model. Below is the technical specifications for the model 9959-AR-DST which will provide the information you are looking for: http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/9959-bl-dst.html?document=ts&fromDetailArea=kitchen&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper Best regards, Tanya

Bought the bar faucet. Water pressure dropped suddenly. Cannot get nozzle head off to clean, have followed instructions to turn counter-clockwise. Would appreciate more detailed instructions. Help!

Asked by: Michelle1962
Hello Michelle1962, Thank you for your question. The sprayer assembly for the Delta 9959-AR-DST faucet unscrews counterclockwise at the hose connection. Once removed, this can be soaked in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution and can be soaked for an hour or even overnight. Best regards, Tanya

Can the Trinsic Bar/Prep faucet be used with an existing reverse osmosis filtered water system?

Asked by: Bruce
Hi, We appreciate the question. It is not recommended to use the Delta 9959-AR-DST with a R/O Systems. We only recommend using our Beverage faucets with the R/O systems. Best regards, Brandis

Delta 9159 vs. 9959

Is it possible to use the 9959 bar/prep sized faucet as a main kitchen faucet? Is 6.5" spout reach too short for a 30" undermount sink? Besides size/dimensions are there any differences between the 9159 and 9959 Trinsic faucets specs or features?
Asked by: marissyt
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet models 9159-DST and 9959-DST are the same faucet with the 9959-DST just being a smaller version of the kitchen faucet. The only reason we would not recommend using the 9959-DST is it may not have the reach that you would like to all corners of the sink but that is a personal preference issue.

How long is the handle? I'm curious whether it will hit the wall behind my sink when it is pushed back.

Asked by: SAL
Hi Sal, Thank you for your question. The handle motion on the model 9959-AR-DST is out to turn the water volume on, and forward to adjust temperature. The handle does not travel back. Thanks, Dave

Is there a direct electric adapter for the 9959T-DST instead of the battery option?

Asked by: Phil
Thank you for your question, Phil! The optional A/C power supply EP73954 can be ordered separately provided you have a non-switched outlet below the counter. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=EP73954 Best regards, Edward

can motion be limited to 180 degrees instead of 360?

I'm putting in on a sink on a counter peninsula. I cannot afford to have it not be over the sink
Asked by: pete
Hello Pete, Thank you for your question. The swivel for Delta model 9959-AR-DST can not be limited. However, there is a spout spacer built into it that prevents it from swiveling loosely. Best Regards, Courtney
