Beautiful faucet from a name you can trust!
Love this Delta Trinsic faucet! The champagne gold color is gorgeous and looks very high-end. It feels solid and sturdy, and the handle turns on and off super smoothly. The pull-down sprayer works great, and installation was easy- my husband had no trouble at all. Definitely recommend!

I’m currently in the process of remodeling my entire kitchen, and this faucet fits beautifully into my design plans. The quality is immediately noticeable—the faucet feels solid, substantial, and extremely well made. The finish is smooth and consistent, giving it a truly high-end, luxurious look.
I’m planning on using gold fixtures throughout my kitchen, and although this finish is technically champagne bronze, it works extremely well with that aesthetic. The tone is warm and elegant and blends seamlessly with other gold elements without clashing. Beautiful and functional!
This Delta Trinsic single handle pull-down kitchen faucet in champagne bronze is not only beautiful but the perfect addition to our kitchen. It was easy to install and has been working wonderfully. There are two faucet modes (aerated stream and spray) that are great for everyday use and for washing dishes. The sprayer is not the strongest spray I have seen in a faucet, but it is still powerful enough to help clean up tough spots on dirty dishes. The handle is easy to use and move and the magnet keeps it in place. We have loved this faucet and think it’s the perfect color and style for most kitchens!

For the 9159-DST & 9959-DST, is there a nozzle option that doesn't have a pullout hose or a nozzle head option without the sprayer and only aerator. Are there other solutions, not listed, to achieve this?

Is there a particular cleaning product I should use so as not to damage the finish? I have the brass/champagne bronze finish.

Thank you for your inquiry! A comprehensive list of cleaners is impossible to recommend because of the variety of materials that are a part of our many models of faucets. What may be fine for a spout may damage a handle.
To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. Stubborn hard water spots are best avoided by this daily regime. If extra measure is needed, a solution of 50% white vinegar (never Apple vinegar) could be used by wiping, spraying or soaking.
Caution: Vinegar can permanently damage porous rock surfaces such as granite or limestone countertops. Use extreme care if such a surface is in the vicinity.
To soak a faucet or part still on a faucet:
1. Mix white vinegar and tap water to a half and half proportion.
2. Put a rag or towel in the solution to soak it up.
3. Wrap the rag or towel around the part.
4. Let sit for up to an hour or so.
5. Use the rag or a clean, soft toothbrush to scrub the remaining hard water buildup.
o Avoid harsh abrasives or polish
o Avoid bleach-based cleaners
o Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner.
o Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents.
o Because cleaning formulas can change without notice, Delta Faucet Company does not endorse any specific cleaner.

does this Trinsic faucet have an aerorator - that softens the stream when not on spray mode?

i purchased this model about 2 years ago. roughly 6 months ago the faucet started to make a pounding noise when the hot water is openned up then the hot water will shut off byitself.This is the only faucet in the house that does this.

Reduced flow or no flow is typically caused by debris. If only one side is affected, there is debris in the supply line. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the middle position, then fully open, then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and turn on both supplies. Check flow from the faucet. If this does not help, please let us know.

the hole in the granite is only 1-1/4" wide. will this fit?

The distance from the center line of the 9159-DST to a back splash is shown as 1-1/2". Same dimension for the 9159T-DST is shown as 2-1/2". Which is correct?

With the handle installed on the right side in the picture, does it just operate forward for temperature; or both forward and backward?

With the faucet installed with the handle facing the right the handle will rotate forward. Pulling the handle out will turn the unit on and put out cold water and when the handle is pulled forward you will get hot water.

Thank you for your question. The Delta Trinsic Pull-Down Kitchen 9159-DST faucet has a flow rate of 1.8 GPM at 60 PSI, this flow is not designed to be reduced. The three Delta Kitchen Pull-Out/Down faucets with a 1.5 GPM at 60 PSI are models 9192-DST, 4153-DST and 4353-DST.

What is the maximum thickness of counter for this faucet?
On page 4 of the install instructions it says the max thickness for the counter top is 3" but on the web page it says 2.5". If it is 2.5" is there an extension/spacer of some kind available so it could be used with a counter top 2.75" thick?

How do I clean the screens on the spray head of your 9159-DST Trinsic kitchen faucet

We recommend unscrewing the wand assembly from the hose and soaking it in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for about 30-60 minutes, then run water both directions through the wand. You can also use an old toothbrush to gently scrub the aerator. Please be sure that the hose does not retract into the spout with the wand removed.

There are no lead containing components used in the construction of the Delta Trinsic Kitchen Pull-Out 9159-DST faucet or any of our DST (Diamond Seal Technology) and LF (Lead Free) faucets. Delta Certifies products with a third-party certifier, CSA Group, to the ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1, Plumbing Supply Fittings. To be in compliance with ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1 Section 4.9.1 (excerpt below), the model is required to be in compliance with the applicable section of NSF 61.

How do you replace the aerator on this model? I have this model and it needs cleaning but I have no idea how to remove the aerator for cleaning. Note I do not have the manual or original packaging.
Thank you for your question, Robert. The aerator is not designed to be removed. However, you can unscrew the spray wand from the hose and clean the screen at the hose connection as any debris from the water lines would found here. We also recommend soaking the wand in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to help dissolve mineral buildup.
