I’ve had delta faucets in my home for many years and have had NO issues with them. I highly recommend this unit and any with the delta name.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Mildew Smell After 9 Months - Bad Aerator After 9 months we started noticing a horrible smell when using the facet. Originally we thought it was the water and called the local water company, Aquos to check our water. Turns out the water was find in master bath and lower bathrooms. Upon further inspection on 2nd visit, they removed the aerator and water coming through was fine. Would NOT recommend this product, especially with households with children which we have.

Only complaint is that the 3 kitchen height faucets have cold in the up position. The other 5 have cold in the down position. That's according to the red and blue dots on the faucets.

Installed in a Kitchen three faucets total two have touch on/off...not worth the trouble. the only one that has worked trouble free is the non electric one i have tried everything Delta says to do no results Delta Please help!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks sharp, neck could be sturdier I love the look of the faucet. Very solid components overall, but the neck where it connects to the base is slightly wobbly. It’s no deal breaker, but I wonder if a thicker neck connection to the base could give a bit more confidence when pulling the neck out. Higher end sinks use all metal and braided steel hoses at all connection points, where these use more pex and plastic

The On/Off touch functionality works really well and you can change the temperature or flow of the water without the faucet shutting off. I am glad that Delta put thought into that. One thing to note about the chrome is that when you do use the on/off touch feature your natural skin oils will leave imprints on the chrome itself so you will have to clean the chrome more than say, nickel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive Faucet leaked withing 3 mos of install I am very disappointed after installing this faucet 3 months ago myself, its already leaking out of the valve when you turn it on. It was working great and then next minute it started pouring out of the single handle valve soaking everything underneath the sink in the cabinet. I spent the extra money on what I thought was a quality product only to find that it wasn't any better than a low budget faucet. Now I am stuck without a working kitchen sink because of this and will have to spend more money on a replacement when I shouldn't have to.

D9159ARDST We just moved into our brand new house a month ago and from the first day we have had problems with both Delta Trinsic Faucets in the kitchen and the laundry room. They are the same model. We cannot get any cold water from the faucet or it is always lukewarm when set to cold but might go back and forth from cold for and few short seconds and then back to warm. We have other Delta Trinsic Faucets in 2 other baths and for our showers as well and do not have this problem. It is isolated to the two same model faucets in the kitchen and laundry. The Plumber cannot figure it out. We tried turning off the hot water recirculater and that did not help. So it has to be the faucet. I’ve read that the cartridge could be bad or misaligned. Could this be the problem? Would really like to figure this out to be able to have cold running water in the kitchen and laundry sinks.

I called Delta service, they were very supportive, and offered to send the replacement part free of charge, under warranty. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful but lever is very stiff I just installed this faucet and I love the look. The pull-down works great and it swivels smoothly from side to side. But there is one thing that stops me from giving this a perfect 5 stars and that is how difficult it is to turn it on and off and change from cold to hot. The lever is so stiff that it behaves as if something inside is too tight or not lubricated. I expected the lever to move smoothly, but it actually takes some arm muscle strength to change it to any position. I feel as though the force it requires may break something. I wish I wasn't so disappointed because I really like the way this faucet looks. But honestly if I knew it was going to be this difficult to operate I would have chosen something different.

I have a question regarding the 9959-DST Trinsic prep faucet. Because of the location on my counter, I will have to mount the handle on the left, so I was wondering if the handle swivels the same amount back as forward (like 45 degrees each way).

What is the difference between a bar/prep faucet and a kitchen faucet? I like this model but want it for my main kitchen sink and I'm wondering if it would work for that?

Thank you for your question, Brett! The Delta Trinsic Faucet models 9159-DST and 9959-DST are the same faucets, with the 9959-DST just being a smaller version of the kitchen faucet. The only reason we would not recommend using the 9959-DST is it may not have the reach that you would like to all corners of the sink. The touch-on/off feature stopped working. Is there a battery or something that needs to be replaced?

There is a battery pack located under the sink connected to the solenoid assembly. Batteries can be replaced with either 6 AA batteries or 6 C batteries. Best Regards, Rosanna

How do I remove the head so that I can clean the screen?

Hi, JeffU! Thank you for your question. The sprayer assembly for the Delta 9959-CZ-DST faucet unscrews counterclockwise at the hose connection. Once removed, this can be soaked in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution and can be soaked for an hour or even overnight. Best Regards, Rosanna

Someone responded that the sprayer is plastic. Are they saying that the pull out section (like the last 2 inches on the faucet) is plastic or do they mean the inside assembly of the sprayer is plastic. Also, is the water aerated?
