Beautiful, Modern, Great Style
It was love at first sight with this faucet. After deciding to go brass and stainless mixed-metals, I knew I wanted something modern yet timeless for the faucet. The color is perfect and matches with brass accents, but could also work with darker metals as well. The faucet sprayer pulls out nicely and pulls right back in place. The feel is quality. It came with a matching soap pump, which is plastic. Unfortunately, even the nicest brands are making these in plastic, so it seems unavoidable. It looks the same, but I do wish the style matched better. All in all, I love this faucet!

Get what you pay for
Great looking faucet with clean lines and chrome finish. Feels substantial and, most importantly, works well and puts up with consistent use by all members of our family. We have had Delta faucets in the past; on one we did have problems when it was about 10 years old and they sent out replacement parts quickly and the repair was an easy fix. These faucets are not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Beautiful design and finish, infuriatingly low flow rate, aerated
I get plenty of compliments on the style and finish of the faucet, but the low flow rate is infuriating.
With my old faucet I could hold a pot while filling it, then turn around and start cooking. Now, I set the pot in the sink, turn the water on, walk away for a while, come back, and watch it fill some more.
I understand EPA, ASME, and CALGreen standards, but 49 seconds to fill 5.5qt pot is a very long time. I looked into removing the flow restrictor, but I'm told it can't be done on this model. I looked into drilling it out. First, I timed the fill rate without the wand assembly. 35 seconds. It's faster, but not worth attempting to drill the flow restrictor out of the wand.
The pressure is very high coming out of the wand hose, so the restrictions are the hose diameter and the wand assembly.
It's pretty, but when I return to the sink and it's. still. slow. ly. fill. ing. the. pot. I want to tear it out of the counter, drive down the street to the Delta plant, and ask them to kindly make a faucet that allows water to flow through it. That would be lovely.
Also, a non-aerated option would be useful. I understand that aeration increases the perceived volume and helps reduce the splashing from the water jet that results from reducing the tip diameter down to the size of pencil graphite in the name of water conservation, but aerated water combined with the low flow rate adds a challenge to rinsing away soap suds. Giving suds a small supply of water mixed with air makes them grow.

Excellent Product, Excellent Service
The faucet is handsome and elegant and perfectly functional.
Ours ended up with a defect and had to be replaced. I called today, related the problem, and a brand new faucet is on the way to replace it. Really impressed with the service quality.

Looks good but my new cabinet is warped now.
This faucet was in the model home of the builder, we liked the way it looked so asked for it in our home with other faucets matching. Hose that extends/retracts developed a leak that I can't find but is was damp enough to warp the wood under my sink cabinet that is only 2.5 years old. This faucet is not worth the retail price listed on this web page. Never thought I would be searching for faucet parts after 2.5 years installed.

Beautiful replacement
I purchased this faucet to replace the builder's special in my new home. The builder's special was from a good brand but I wanted one that had an arc and more aesthetic looking.
This faucet is easy to install. The spray in both setting is strong which is great to rinse heavy residue off pots, pans, dishes, etc and wash down the sink. It can causing splashing if you turn the faucet on all the way.
The hose does not automatically retract as some reviewers have noted. You will need to push the hose back into the holder. A heavier weight is needed if you want it to automatically retract.
Pros: looks good, easy installation, powerful water stream.
Cons: instead of 32 inches of supply line, perhaps make the water line a standard length of most cabinet heights. Avoids cutting the excess line or looping as suggested in the installation instruction.
Overall, very happy with the new faucet.

Good while it lasted
Be advised, if the touch feature dies you will be without water in your kitchen until fixed. Ours died in less than 3 years. Other than not serving its primary function it is fine.

Good looking
This faucet is not only good looking but also is very functional. The pull out sprayer is really handy. No drips no leaks. Big pans to wash are no problem with the high arcing faucet and the sprayer combined. I like this faucet more every time I use it.

leak that new cartridge does not solve
leak coming out of the cartridge or the faucet body the cartridge sits in. I pulled the cartridge & cleaned it and then tried varying tightness 5 degrees at a time. Called Delta, got new cartridge. Same problem. May be in the base assembly that hold the cartridge. But that base does not have a part number. Back to Delta phone help (so far the best thing about owning a delta faucet)

Love the look and ease of use of this faucet. The style matched our Reverse Osmosis faucet. Installation was easy. I would recommend this faucet to anyone looking for a good quality contemporary faucet.

Love this faucet, but a repair already
We remodeled our kitchen and this Trinsic beautifully blends in with the new mix of traditional and modern elements. The magnetic pull down is brilliant. The 360 degree swivel allows me to fill a stock pot while it is sitting on my island behind the sink! Never thought about that being a bonus when I purchased this faucet, but it is nice not having to lift a huge pot of water out of the sink and instead just slide it off the island.
My only reservation is that the cartridge assembly has gone bad after only 10 months. I could tell the handle had suddenly gotten harder to operate, but still worked. A few days later, I found a water puddle in my new cabinet under the sink. Cleaned everything up and after some investigating, I could see drops of water very slowly, but persistently, sliding down the hose and landing on the cabinet floor.
Delta customer service was friendly and helpful and is sending a replacement cartridge assembly. It will be here in a week. Until then, I'm turning off the water! I still love this faucet and would recommend Delta because of the company's reputation, warranty and product quality.

Awesome Faucet!
Completely remodel our kitchen and I wanted a modern faucet. At first we thought the touch on/off feature was just an extravagant add on. Being able to just touch the faucet when my hands are dirty and turn the faucet on of off is just so handy....I love it!!!!

Hot water flows slow
After installing this faucet the cold water setting flows with good pressure, but the hot water only flows at about half pressure. I removed the hot water hose and didn't see any obstructions. Still having this problem. Wife wants me to purchase another faucet.

faucet is great
Needed a pull out faucet for my basement bar. This one is solid and works great. the mounting mechanism was clearly designed by someone who has tried to retrofit a faucet before. It installed easily with no issues at all.

A quality product
I really like the look and the quality of the product. At first I thought it would look too big and clunky but in reality it looks just fine. The only thing that i might adjust if possible is the ease in which the faucet rotates. it can be too easily be swung by accident. maybe it's just my unit.

This product is great but has one slight area of improvement
The Trinsic is very nice looking in my bar area.
It works very well however, if there was one thing I'd try to improve, it would be in the pull down system. Pulling it out works good though not perfectly but you have to help it pushing it back in place (as if the weight was not sufficient or hoses to large).
But overall, great product...

Uncomfortable but it looks pretty
I can't believe all the positive reviews on the design, it is uncomfortable to turn off or on, when your hands are wet you will bring water to the counter stone as you turn off the water.
Bad ergonomic design but looks pretty.

Great bar faucet!
We've been using this for a while now and it functions exceptionally well. Pull out and spray switch have been very useful, even with a very small sink. It is definitely not a petite faucet, and would work very well for a small kitchen sink as well.
I was concerned with the pex hoses, but they installed very easily with no leaks.

We have had nothing but problems with the touch feature on this faucet which we have taken pictures and sent to Delta, (as per their request) and thus they replaced parts. It still goes on and off at it's on will and most of the time the touch feature, simply doesn't work. You can't turn it on, or it goes on by itself when you are not there. I am going to try to return for a non -touch model today. The faucet itself is great, the touch feature is not.

HIgh quality and modern design
We bought this for a kitchen remodel. It was difficult trying to find a simplistic modern looking facet without curvy curly stick handles and under 17 inches. We decided on the Delta Trinsic 9959-DST for the high rating, life time warranty, and made in North America. We have had the faucet for only two months and very happy with it and our plumber who installed the faucet recommended Delta for its quality and customer service. It is very easy to use and to clean. The pull down uses magnets and not gravity weights to hold the pullout sprayer in place and makes retractions very easy. You can switch via an ergonomic button between aerated or spray mode and have a free hand - you do not have to continuously hold the button when using the spray. There is some splashing on the counter when the spray is used at the maximum but surprised that it was at a minimum as I was expecting more.
The only con, I wish it was a bit slimmer – at least by another 20%. With style these days big, tall and chunky, this was the most simplistic and higher quality.

Great faucet!
This might be billed as a bar-sized faucet, but it's the perfect size for a NYC apartment kitchen. There's a button on the back of the pull-out spray that switches easily from spray to a regular water stream. The pull-out spray fits back into the faucet firmly and easily each time. You can turn the water off at any temperature, so you can tell at a glance what water temperature the water will be when you turn it back on. After 5 month's use, very pleased with this purchase. Faucet Direct was flawless as always.

wasn't my first choice
I had been looking for a faucet that was more user friendly than my prior one. But I had in my mind I still wanted something similar. My previous faucet had a straighter line and the hose pulled out straight across instead of down. It was my style..modern but not too art deco. When the store I purchased it in didn't have anything to my liking in stock, I had to reassess what I wanted. I really didn't want an art deco design, but my choices were very limited. I needed to purchase one that day since my old faucet was completely broken and we were also replacing the sink the same day. When I saw this was pretty much my only choice, I was a bit depressed since I really didn't like the look. It reminded me of a laboratory faucet. But once we installed it my mind was changed. I love the fact that the hose pulled down right into the drain. I also loved that I didn't really have to pull it out the faucet, I could just pivot it to clear away debris. When using my old faucet, while using the hose, sometimes it would slip out of my hand, since it was so big and bulky. It was like trying to tame an octopus. The water would spray all over the kitchen as well as my clothes. It was always such a big mess. This faucet is very sleek and won't slip out of your hand. But even if it did, the hose faces down so water will only spray in the sink. I would recommend this to everyone

A faucet very well conceived.
A great acquisition for our kitchen. Especially appreciate the magnetic lock of the pull-down.
The low flow water rate is more of an urban advantage, not so useful in the country with artesian well; but I guess we will grow accustomed to it.

Perfect, beautiful, easy to install
As a woman, I picked out a faucet based on how well the sprayer would go back into the faucet without it hanging out later on, when it starts to wear out.
Never did I think it would be as easy as it was to
install. I thought perhaps I would have to hire someone,
but with a little bit of reading of the directions and the
ease in which to hook up the water lines, as well as
installing the actual faucet, it was a snap for even I
to do. Took me no time at all and it was perfect.
