Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rusting MODEL#: 9159T-DST We installed this Trinsic (matte black) faucet (MODEL#: 9159T-DST) in our kitchen remodel about ~ 3 years ago. No complaints about the touch feature which is awesome, however, ~ 1.5 years back, the gap between the faucet body and the faucet head started growing. The gap appears to be due to a lot of rust-looking crud. There are several other reviews and comments that mention this problem so this appears to be a design flaw for this model Honestly did not expect to have this kind of an issue with a faucet that was this expensive. Delta is there a solution to this?

The Touch2O sensor is impossible to work with - sometimes it will turn off without a touch while other times you have to touch it multiple times to get it to work correctly. In addition, the batteries barely last 3 months before needing replacement - there is nothing worse than having to crawl under the sink to replace batteries when you are in the middle of cooking.

Cheap 40 dollar faucets have lasted longer than this highly priced item. What is the warranty on the magnet ? It.cost me.about 500.00 and it is made with poor quality materials. Wish I knew that before buying it. Delta is not what it used to be.

The shorter height makes the faucet a little less obvious and takes up less visual space when being viewed from the living area. As with my other taller faucet, it works beautifully. When compared to other similar faucets, the price is one of the reasons I chose it. I would buy this again.

It also turns itself on. Most recently (and the worst) is the pull out feature; whatever housing that the magnet is supposed to help retract the hose inside the faucet has fallen out. It's a mess.

It was purchased for our bar area in the basement and won’t be getting daily use but now I wish I would have hose this faucet for our kitchen! The sprayer is AMAZING! Literally, the best sprayer I’ve ever used from any brand. We don’t have great water pressure either but this faucet is some kind of magic. Love it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do not buy this faucet I researched faucets forever until I found this one. I wanted quality that would last. Two years later, I have to replace this yet again and pay a plumber again to install something new. Mine is not the touch feature, but still has so many problems. First, rust started to develop at the base where the hose meets the head and now orange rust extends along the whole length of the hose. Second, the button is failing so the water comes out with this awful dripping From the side. Third, it has started to leak from below where all of the hoses are wrapped together, so our cabinets are getting wet and damaged. I am super bummed.

Actually harder to remove the old faucet first, as dispose-all was in the way and had to be removed first. Faucet has been in service now for several weeks, love it. Sturdy, heavy construction, and love the magnetic spray-head retention. Needle spray is quite forceful and tightly directed. Only minor flaw is they could have made the on/off cartridge more adjustable. It's a little difficult to find a medium flow rate.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Concept. Imperfect execution. We had this installed a few weeks ago. It accomplishes our color objective, but it is not the best faucet ever despite the $600+ price tag. The features are not executed well, though for the most part they function as the manufacturer intended. Pros: Color matches our new kitchen, adjustable water stream (full water or spray), finger-touch on-off system, light indicating actual water temperature coming out of nozzle. Cons: Accumulates brown water spots within minutes, on-off handle is very sensitive and hard to adjust to desired water pressure (probably because it is so small), one-touch system often turns off water flow when you grab the nozzle to pull it down to spray out the sink. Last comment about the one-touch on-off system. Even if it were to work as desired, it would be a bad idea to get this feature on a faucet if you have more than one person using the kitchen at a time. The temperature/flow setting my wife uses is different from the setting I use, so we find that we have to constantly adjust the pressure and the temperature when we are both in the kitchen. This makes the poor ergonomics/ oversensitivity of the smaller temperature control/flow rate control handle rather annoying. If we had to do it again, we would probably buy something with a better on/off handle, and not worry about the one-touch feature.

Housing for the batteries is so cheap I have to use a rubber band to keep it together. The idea of a touch to turn it on and off is great but the quality of the product needs improvement. The customer service is excellent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love and hate relationship I've had this faucet for a couple years now and i love the touch feature and looks of this...my only gripe is that since day one there has been a lot of play in the handle and it doesn't move smoothly especially considering the price...i forget about for a while until i need to use the handle...its also seems like there is steep learning curve compared to standard non touch20 faucets. You'll no what I'm talking about when you have guests over that like to help out in the kitchen...

Does the 9959T-DST faucet have an option for a 1.5gpm aerator to be added?

Time to replace our existing Delta faucet (had it for 25 years!) - which has a 12&rdquo; high arc. I am worried that the Trinsic 15.5&rdquo; kitchen faucet will be too big. I have an Elkay double sink that is only 9&rdquo; deep on main side and only 7&rdquo; on the smaller.

Model #9959T is leaking above the sink at the spout assembly (rp71655)meets the the retainer(rp60923). What is the repair?

If the faucet is leaking at the spout retainer, we would recommend to replace the hose assembly, since the water travels through the hose assembly, itself. The hose assembly part number is RP80522. Can this model have a higher water flow?

Hi Dave, Thank you for your question. The aerator on the model 9959T-DST that controls the flow rate is part of the wand assembly and not a separate piece. There is not an option to change out the aerator/wand assembly to a higher flow rate. Thanks, Dave

My faucet water flow has slowed to a trickle. How do I fix this?

Hi, Anna! Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing low flow from your Delta faucet. We recommend to flush the lines and clean the debris screen at your solenoid assembly under the sink. To flush the lines, make sure your handle is in the 'off' position. Disconnect the top hose from your solenoid assembly and point it into a bucket. Turn on the water from your handle and let the water flow through the open hose into the bucket. Does it have adequate flow? Since the hose is disconnected, this is a good time to take the debris screen out of the solenoid. The debris screen is located in the opening of the solenoid where the hose was connected into. Take a pair of needle nose pliers and pull the small debris screen out. Clean the debris screen by rinsing it in running water at another faucet in your home since your kitchen faucet will be disconnected. Install it back into the solenoid and connect everything back up. Turn the handle in the off position. Disconnect the hose from the bottom of the solenoid. Point the whole solenoid into the bucket. Turn the handle in the 'on' position. Flush the solenoid through.
