The operation is good, the installation was straightforward and the finish has held up just fine so far. I like the magnetic catch on the spout as it's strong enough to really hold the spout in place and the selector "switch" for stream or spray works solidly too. No downside I can think of.

Being able to just touch the faucet when my hands are dirty and turn the faucet on of off is just so handy....I love it!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bar faucet! We've been using this for a while now and it functions exceptionally well. Pull out and spray switch have been very useful, even with a very small sink. It is definitely not a petite faucet, and would work very well for a small kitchen sink as well. I was concerned with the pex hoses, but they installed very easily with no leaks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from We have had nothing but problems with the touch feature on this faucet which we have taken pictures and sent to Delta, (as per their request) and thus they replaced parts. It still goes on and off at it's on will and most of the time the touch feature, simply doesn't work. You can't turn it on, or it goes on by itself when you are not there. I am going to try to return for a non -touch model today. The faucet itself is great, the touch feature is not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great faucet! This might be billed as a bar-sized faucet, but it's the perfect size for a NYC apartment kitchen. There's a button on the back of the pull-out spray that switches easily from spray to a regular water stream. The pull-out spray fits back into the faucet firmly and easily each time. You can turn the water off at any temperature, so you can tell at a glance what water temperature the water will be when you turn it back on. After 5 month's use, very pleased with this purchase. Faucet Direct was flawless as always.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Big Bar Faucet When we bought this faucet for our bar/counter online, we had never seen one in person. It's a little bigger than we expected. The pipe is very big in circumference, check one out in person first. If we would have known this, we might have shopped around a little more, but online, the style was very sleek and contemporary. It's a pretty cool look and the pull out spray nozzle is very handy for rinsing around the sink rim and filling various items of glassware etc. We had it installed by a knowledgable plumber so I can't share any install horror stories, but after it was in, I took a peek under the counter and it looked simpler than the instructions lead me to believe. I'm not real happy with the touch technology. It's really awesome when it's working with the blue LED "on" light, but sometimes it doesn't work and takes a couple of taps or more to get the water flowing. Sometimes when it's running and I re-adjust the temperature, just touching the handle shuts it off, then I have to touch it again to get the water flowing. The Touch feature should work on everything BUT the handle.Very frustrating, especially if your hands are holding things or they're soapy. This defeats the purpose of the Touch20 feature, right? I've even had it come on when nobody was near it. (The handle was in the open position obviously, as water started flowing) I would suggest making sure the handle is in the shut position if you ever leave the house for any amount of time. I think in hind-sight I would have gone old school and opted out of the Touch2O feature altogether, which is offered on the exact same faucet. As for the handle itself, I think they could have done a little better with the design. There's not much to grab on to, as I would have preferred more of a paddle design to the "stick" on this model. I guess it wouldn't matter much if the Touch20 feature worked 100%, but like it said, it's a little quirky. Maybe I could get better performance if I mess around with the wires, but everything looks clean, well connected and grounded. Who knows. As far as construction and quality, just the feel and mechanical function is top drawer. I don't see any reason why this faucet shouldn't last for many years.

Does the 9959T-DST faucet have an option for a 1.5gpm aerator to be added?

Hello TSBPlumbing, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Trinsic Bar/Prep 9959T-DST faucet is designed with only a 1.8 GPM at 60 PSI flow rate. There are no other or extra parts for increasing or decreasing the flow rate of this faucet. Best regards, Tanya

Time to replace our existing Delta faucet (had it for 25 years!) - which has a 12&rdquo; high arc. I am worried that the Trinsic 15.5&rdquo; kitchen faucet will be too big. I have an Elkay double sink that is only 9&rdquo; deep on main side and only 7&rdquo; on the smaller.

The 9959T-DST Bar/Prep faucet is 13&quot; and the full-size kitchen faucet, 9159T-DST, is 15 11/16&quot;. Model #9959T is leaking above the sink at the spout assembly (rp71655)meets the the retainer(rp60923). What is the repair?

If the faucet is leaking at the spout retainer, we would recommend to replace the hose assembly, since the water travels through the hose assembly, itself. The hose assembly part number is RP80522. Can this model have a higher water flow?

Is it possible to increase the water flow to 2.2gpm?

Hi Dave, Thank you for your question. The aerator on the model 9959T-DST that controls the flow rate is part of the wand assembly and not a separate piece. There is not an option to change out the aerator/wand assembly to a higher flow rate. Thanks, Dave

Can the handle be switched to the left side?

My faucet water flow has slowed to a trickle. How do I fix this?

Hi, Anna! Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing low flow from your Delta faucet. We recommend to flush the lines and clean the debris screen at your solenoid assembly under the sink. To flush the lines, make sure your handle is in the 'off' position. Disconnect the top hose from your solenoid assembly and point it into a bucket. Turn on the water from your handle and let the water flow through the open hose into the bucket. Does it have adequate flow? Since the hose is disconnected, this is a good time to take the debris screen out of the solenoid. The debris screen is located in the opening of the solenoid where the hose was connected into. Take a pair of needle nose pliers and pull the small debris screen out. Clean the debris screen by rinsing it in running water at another faucet in your home since your kitchen faucet will be disconnected. Install it back into the solenoid and connect everything back up. Turn the handle in the off position. Disconnect the hose from the bottom of the solenoid. Point the whole solenoid into the bucket. Turn the handle in the 'on' position. Flush the solenoid through.
