Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looking good! Easy to install ( it took fore time taking out the old one ) and operate; a little less flow, but that I believe is the new standard. I even looks better than the old Danze thing that I was about to repair for the fourth time in 3 years. Using a pex style install was new to me as well, but it's easier than copper.

I need to purchase the sprayer head and hose.need to find out what one I have. Thank -you some one else installed this.
Asked by: chrissy
Hi, Chrissy! Thank you for your question. The difference between the two units is the style of the faucets. The Classic has a straighter handle while the Collins will have a bit curvier handle and a slightly curvier spout . Best Regards, Rosanna

How to replace sprayer?

How do I replace the spray nozzle
Asked by: Tom
Hi Tom, Thank you for your question! To replace the sprayer itself you can unscrew the sprayer from the hose and attach the new one. To replace the complete hose and sprayer assembly, pull the blue clip out from the gray housing where the sprayer hose connects under the sink. You can then pull down on the hose to remove it and then pull the sprayer and hose out from above the sink. Install the hose and sprayer in the reverse order and pull down on the hose to ensure that it is properly attached. Best regards, Jon

Our sprayer handle stick so it stays depressed after use. You have to wait a few minutes with the water running for the sprayer to release. Do you have any recommendations too free it up?

Asked by: Jared
Thank you for your question, Jared! A button sticking could result from mineral buildup inside the wand. This is usually addressed by removing teh wand and pouring a 50/50 solution of white vinegar/water through the wand. You may also let this soak in this mixture for up to 30 minutes if needed. What size allen wrench do I need to remove the handle on the 400-DST

trying to replace the diverter, but not sure what size allen wrench I need to remove my handle.
Asked by: Andrew
Thank you for your question, Andrew! The set screw will take a 1/8" Allen wrench. Please make sure that your water supplies are turned off under the sink. Once the handle is removed, you can unscrew the cap and bonnet to access the cartridge. Note that with this model, the diverter is on the end of the hose. Best regards, Jon

Recently had the Classic 400-SS-DST installed with a new sink. Is there any way to increase the water pressure in the sprayer. It's just a very soft spray and my older model had more force which I liked better and did a better job spraying off dishes.

Asked by: Cath70
The sprayer came with the faucet so both are brand new, which clogging wouldn't be a problem. I thought maybe it had some type of water saving part inside that could maybe be removed that would help but couldn't find this out in the paperwork that came with it. I really like the faucet but the sprayer is frustrating with such a low spay power.

Where is the diverter valve in this model located? Please advise on how to access this part in my faucet.

Asked by: WendyN

Will this work with a Mustee utility/laundry sink? I want a faucet with a sprayer option rather than a utility faucet that can't be used with a sprayer.

Asked by: JoJo
Hi JoJo, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 400-DST. Some models of sink have a recessed area for installing a faucet that has drill points for an 8" installation that this faucet uses. But there does not appear to be a drill point for the sprayer on the sink ledge. I recommend confirming with the sink manufacturer if the sink accommodates a 4-hole 8" installation. Please contact us directly if you have any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist
