For $200.00 bucks, I expected brass, chromed brass, not chrome on plastic with a flimsy gasket and such a bad build. You really took me on this one. For the money, this is junk.. Maybe in a throw away world, a throw away society, this is great, but for pity sakes, for the 200 bucks I spent on this I could have BUILT a fancy brazed copper faucet on a lathe at my buddies shop that would last forever. Do yourself a favor and get something else. Awaste of money at best. Yes, SURE it went in with next to no tools, but the rest-TRASH - 2 stars cause it did not leak and flood the place.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Delta400-SS-DST This probably more of an installation problem than equipment, but not sure. About 4-6 weeks ago, replaced a 20 + yr. old Moen with this model. Plumbing company said better. First three weeks- great. Then it started to "occasionally" drip one drop at a time. Plumber returned and made a small adjustment, and the drip is gone, but now, pushing handle all the way to the left (red or hot), handle is perfectly perpendicular, Water comes out warm, never HOT.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice basic faucet! I had replaced an old Delta single handled kitchen faucet with another major brand I bought from a big box store about 12 years ago. Big mistake. Should have stuck with Delta. When my plumber attempted to fix the 'other' brand, it broke. He asked what I wanted to replace it with and the first word that came out of my mouth was Delta! This is one of Delta's basic kitchen faucets, but it's very nice. Have only had it a couple weeks so far. I also have the same faucet on a sink in a basement kitchen without the side spray and it has worked fine since it was installed in 2014. I like that these come with a gasket between the faucet plate and the sink. The other product didn't have that which is another reason I wanted another Delta faucet! I'm very happy with this product and hope it lasts for many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta 400DST Not fond of the plastic stuff underneath and the length of the water connections are and should be long enough for any application, i guess it makes it simpler for homeowners along with some plug and play connections with o-rings that do not leak yet nor do i expect them to. I replaced a chronic Kohler leaker around swivel spout top along with rebuild kits that would last awhile but not long enough to justify the price paid. I canned it after a few years and got this one. IMO it is one step down but so far it has not leaked and performs well all functions, not as heavy as the other faucet but does what it is supposed to do and longevity we will see but i do recommend because it is simple and functions well.

Works great looks great. I am 76 years old and have bought and installed many faucets and can say without any doubt these are excellent faucets and great service from Ferguson I highly recommend!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sprayer leaks My plumber installed this faucet and sprayer at kitchen sink about 4 weeks ago. I have noticed water on the floor of the cabinet under my kitchen sink. After some investigation, I have realized that after I use the sprayer and return it to its holder, if there’s water on it it leaks down between the sprayer and the holder it sits in. There’s not a tight seal there to prevent this from happening. My plumber says that’s normal. I know that’s not normal! What can be done about it???? Over time it’s going to ruin the floor under the sink.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not up to expectations Just installed today by a plumber. Faucet looks & feels like its made of plastic rather than the Delta I replaced which was metal. It looks like one that would be installed in a mobile home. Very disappointed in the look. Also, it is dripping as I see was reported in reviews written over a year ago. Why hasn't that problem been resolved at manufacturing? I installed this one to replace an old one that would not stop dripping only to get a new one that does the same thing!

Faucet makes a moaning/creaking noise when handle is moved. Contacted Delta and instructed to remove/clean aerator and try draining the supply lines - that has not helped. Still have the same annoying moaning/creaking noise. Faucet is only three months old - should have kept my old Delta faucet. Have five other Delta faucets in the house and have not had problems. This one is not the same quality as the older ones. Probably will not purchase Delta again.

Is there a way to disable the sprayer hose for this faucet?

Hi, Nancy! Thank you for your question. The Delta 400-DST Faucet can be used without the sprayer assembly. To use the faucet without the hose attached, you will want to cap the end valve with the cap, part number RP54269. how do I install it,your instructions are confusing

Dear Diy Always, Thank you for your question. To install the Delta Classic Kitchen 400-DST faucet. You would first remove the old faucet. Remove the gasket from the old faucet and install it onto bottom of the new faucet. Next, feed tubes/shanks down through mounting hole in the sink. Secure faucet to sink with mounting nuts supplied with your faucet. Mount the spray support in far right hole of the sink. Hand tighten the mounting nut. Insert sprayer and hose down through support assembly. What is the thread size for the aerator?  Better to chose a different design if used with portable dishwasher?  Thanks

Hello Dwidemn, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Classic Kitchen 400-DST faucet. This unit comes with a 5/16"-27 Male thread aerator. A portable dishwasher may be used with this model. However, it is up to the installer to adapt it and ensure a leak-free connection. Because the spout has an internal tube, water could leak below the sink. You may use the gasket from the aerator with the necessary adapter, but an additional gasket may be needed. Best regards, Tanya

Can I convert the DST 400 from an existing 3 hole installation to a 1 hole installation?

Faucet with cover plate covers 3 holes and sprayer uses 4th hole. I bought a water filtration system and need one of the 2 covered/unused holes for installation. I would like to re-use the existing faucet instead of buying a new one. I saw you sell RP51490. Can I buy this and just exchange it with the current 3 hole plate?

Hi tvirtualw, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the escutceon plate on the model 400-DST cannot be removed and switched out to another escutcheon. We offer the 2 hole install 175-DST and the 3 hole install 300-DST faucets from the same Classic collection that would free up the extra hole. Thanks, Dave

I bought and installed this faucet about a month ago. The faucet drips in the neutral position, is there a simple fix for this?
