The adjustable flow control for spray or stream is easy to use and the pull out extension is secure and versatile. My source for this faucet was a local plumbing contractor so the cost was quite expensive. Had it professionally installed and everything works great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad design of interior parts This could be a nice simple faucet, except the plastic piece at the end of the pull-out handle quickly becomes impossible to fit back into its slot. This should be made out of a different material or redesigned to work after a month.

I received a new faucet after 12 years on the first warranty and a replacement part for a warranty repair on the second faucet. I decided to get a brand new 470-DST faucet and pay for it's installation rather than installation of the part. I'll keep the part. The faucets are quality, well priced and the design works well in many kitchens. I recommend this faucet. Hard to get Chrome finish in Calif so I was lucky to find one.

Model # 470 DST -Wand

Model # 470 DST Located in the water inlet end of the wand is a removable cartage. The cartage is fitted with 3 O-rings. The water supply hose out-let screws into the cartage. Is this cartage and the (3) O-rings sold separately? If so, what are the parts numbers?

can I add a filter to my 470 DST? if so, how?

Hi prospero0130, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to use a faucet mounted filter with any of our pull-out or pull-down faucets. However, you can use an under sink filtration system that accepts the 3/8" compression fittings on the supply lines. Best regards, Jon

How do you remove the old hose?

Underneath the faucet, I have removed the plastic clip. Then, I tried pulling directly down on the hose, but it will not budge. What is the proper technique for removing the hose from the faucet? In the attached photo, you can see where the metal covering of the rubber hose has fallen down. The rubber hose remains attached to a copper piece that is somehow attached to the base of the faucet. I need to remove that copper piece from the base of the faucet, in order to complete the repair.

Hi DTW, Thank you for your question. Once the clip is removed there is nothing mechanical holding the hose to the faucet. You can use a pair of needle nose pliers placed at the top of the tubing to grab a hold of the fitting and remove. Thanks, Dave

Faucet won't connect a portable dishwasher. After MUCH research seems it requires a "Cache Faucet Adapter" (= male thread for recessed aerator area, /other end male for dishwasher connector)--So I need the aerator specs to order part. Please supply.

I have a 470 DST faucet that dripping from outlet nozzle. I read that I can get a new cartridge sent for free. Do I need a repair kit also?

How do I know which model faucet I have? It looks like the 470-DST, but is it the WH or the AR?  Installed in 2003 new. You sent me a valve repair kit for it (RP3614 A) if that helps. The hose at the wand head is leaking about 1/2” down from the wand.

Does this faucet have a lifetime garantee? My faucet is not moving properly from side to side. Do I need a new faucet or some parts?

How to remove the bonnet if it just rotates when I try to unscrew it. Last time I was told to surround the valve with a bag of vinegar.

Then use a wrench to unscrew the bonnet nut counterclockwise. Soaking in 50/50 white vinegar and water can dissolve mineral deposits that can make the bonnet nut difficult to remove. This has been installed in my house for years. When you push the button to switch to "spray" it doesnt fully convert and partly comes out as a stream and also spray. Is there a fix? A part?

I have an older (~10 years) single handle pull out Delta faucet. It looks like the current model 470-AR-DST. It's been great, but now the handle just spins and leaks. What parts do I need to fix it?

If the handle is loose or spins, I recommend tightening the set screw that attaches the handle to the valve cartridge. To repair a drip, we recommend flushing any trapped water debris from the faucet and replacing the RP50587 cartridge if the issue remains.
