Rated 1 out of 5 by from Huge Disappointment I had such high hopes for this faucet. The look the design he price. I bought it to go with my Newport brass water dispenser. Purchased in 11/2015 I had nothing but issues. No pressure no hot water changed the batteries did all trouble shooting. Waste of money! I bought the Newport brass fauctet and had it installed and feel like a changed human! So much pressure and hot water!!! I’m happy now after wasting the money from before. Bummer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE the Touch2o faucets!! I had a Touch2o faucet a few years ago and loved it, so I knew when I moved, I’d be purchasing another one....I love the modern design of the Trinsic faucet and I’ve had it installed for about 2 1/2 weeks now and couldn’t be happier with it!! I knew I was going to buy it regardless of some negative reviews because I’ve had a Touch2o before and never experienced any issues. I did have it professionally installed but just days prior received a response from Delta customers service advising that the solenoid had been redesigned in November of if anyone had any doubts, know that Delta addressed the concerns and it works beautifully!! I plan on trying to update my review after a few months to reaffirm that THIS is the faucet to buy!! THANK YOU Delta!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very erratic performance We've had the Touch20 faucet in our kitchen for approximately 1.5 yrs. Since we've had it, our primary problem is a dripping faucet when it is in the off mode. We've already replaced the solenoid once. This past week when we had 30 people for dinner, the faucet just quit working altogether---no hot or cold water would come out. We replaced the batteries and it started working and then stopped again. I replaced the batteries a second time and it still didn't work. We checked all of the batteries to make sure they were good and they were. Needless to say, that many dishes with an unusable faucet was more than frustrating. When the faucet works as it should, it's a great product; but for the most part, it's just a hassle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product overall Have had the Trinsic with touch for almost 6 years, and have had to replace the solenoid once about 2 years ago I think. Not a terribly technical repair, clear out the undersink cabinet, but it can be a tight space so give yourself lots of time, and don't forget to turn off the water before starting. Had the replacement within days, and was able to disable the solenoid so it worked manually. The solenoid appears to be malfunctioning once again, and I will call Delta tomorrow to order a new one. They were superb to work with last time, and I am sure will be again. Even with these glitches, I would highly recommend this product. We own two holiday rentals in Key West Florida, and this exact model is in both units, and both work flawlessly. Our guests are always amazed at their ease of use, and I am sure that we have "sold" many of these units to our guests for Delta after they leave our condos, for their own homes. Such a great "touch" for a holiday rental, don't you think?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful modern style My Trinsic faucet was installed by a fantastic plumber just last night and I am SOO happy to have another Touch2o faucet again! I had one in my last house and could not wait to replace my kitchen sink in my new house so I could also replace the faucet and have another Touch2o faucet. I love the modern design and the Artic Stainless finish is goes so well in my kitchen. It should also be known that two days before I place my order, Delta Customer Service responded to my question regarding the reviews about issues with the solenoid since I never had a single issue with my previous Delta Touch2o faucet. Thank you for confirming that the solenoid has been redesigned and improved! I look forward to many more years of loving another Delta Touch2o faucet as it really is fabulous when your hands are dirty, especially when baking. With the improvements in the solenoid redesign, anyone that had concerns should be able to order with confidence, just as I did. THANK YOU DELTA!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Touch on feature spot on! We purchased one for our kitchen about 1.5 years ago, it malfunctioned a couple of times in the beginning but it performed well afterwards. We decided to get another one for our utility/laundry sink. So far, so good. Touch on feature is definitely my favorite. Would definitely recommend. The look/design is high quality. Sleek and clean.

Please compare the 9159T-DST model to the 9959T- DST (bar/prep)

Asked by: ConsueloTheCook
Hello there ConsueloTheCook, Thank you for your question. The Delta Trinsic 9159T-DST Kitchen and 9959T-DST Bar/Prep faucet have the same design and touch feature. The only difference is that the Bar/Prep faucet is smaller in size than the Kitchen faucet model. Best regards, Tanya

I’m considering buy either the arctic stainless or chrome.  I currently have a chrome faucet from another brand and the handle has started to bubble and chip after 6+ years.  Have you had any problems with the chrome?  Which finish is more popular/durable

Asked by: Kelli
Thank you for your question Kelli! These are both popular finishes, however, Chrome is most commonly purchased for its versatility. Although our finishes are extremely durable, they can be damaged by harsh abrasives, chemicals or polish. To clean, we suggest simply wiping gently with a damp cloth and blotting dry with a soft towel. Best regards, Edward

I am having an issue I’d like some help with please. Sometimes when I touch the faucet to stop the flow of water we get a steady drip (sometimes heavier than others). When we use the handle to stop the water, no drip. What mechanism needs attention?

Asked by: Vanne
Hi, Vanne! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. Leaking from the faucet in the touch off mode usually comes from debris inside the solenoid. You may flush the solenoid by following these next steps. 1. Turn the water supply by putting your handle in the manual off position. 2. Disconnect the sprayer hose by removing the blue retaining clip. 3. Place a bucket under the male adapter coming out from the solenoid. 4. Run water into the bucket for 2-3 minutes. Debris located inside the solenoid should be flushed out after completing these steps. If this does not correct the leak, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at Best Regards, Rosanna

Hi- Looking at adding Delta Trinsic Kitchen and Bathroom Faucets, noticed that for the Kitchen fixtures you only have Artic Stainless for Trinsic, but for Bathroom fixtures you only have Stainless, what is the difference, will they look different?

Asked by: SoonerDave
Hi, SoonerDave! Thank you for your question. The Arctic Stainless and the Stainless Steel are similar as they are both 'Brushed' but will not match side by side. The Arctic Stainless matches the newer Stainless appliances that are available now on the market. The Arctic Stainless has more brighter, blue undertones while the Stainless Steel finish has more of a red undertone. Best Regards, Rosanna

I purchased a new home with this kitchen faucet.  I looked at the booklet and there is very little to explain the hows or whys of the faucet.  Do you have any literature that explains the purpose, function, and expectation of this faucet?

Asked by: daylec
Dear Daylec, Thank you for your question. Please see the Maintenance/Installation document below, for the Delta Trinsic Touch2O Kitchen Pull-Down 9159T-DST faucet. Best regards, Tanya

Can I disable the "auto off" feature?

Our sink which has the Delta Faucet is located on an outside wall. As the temperatures plummet this winter, we would like to leave this Faucet on a slow drip overnight. The StartUp Guide has no information on how we might temporarily disable the "auto off" feature so that we can keep water moving through the pipes during periods of frigid temperatures.
Asked by: CFaivre
Hi CFaivre, Thank you for your question. The auto shut off is a safety feature of our touch faucets. To turn off the auto shut-off, you would need to fully remove the solenoid assembly. Best regards, Tanya
