Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Revision To Their Touch Kitchen Faucet Design This faucet is a slightly darker Nickel finish with a bit of a gloss to it. Think a combination of gun metal. it does not match the Houzer soap dispenser I also installed beside it in the existing granite (though I'm find with it as the handle designs are identical between the two. Installation will take some time, if you've got experience with faucet installs, it won't present in any problems. Proper operation is dependent on install quality. I bough the RP64070 plate and AC adapter EP73954 and both installed without issue. The solenoid that switches water on and off is not a soft-valve-close design, so that it doesn't shake lines like the previous design. Also, the human touch detection is flawless as I've had no false triggers and it consistently discerns between my fingers turning it on and my fingers adjusting the neck's aim. The light that changes color from hot to cold is a nice touch that others have appreciated (if you have long lines and you're waiting for the water to reach temp you can just glance over and check). Good purchase overall.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Concept. Imperfect execution. We had this installed a few weeks ago. It accomplishes our color objective, but it is not the best faucet ever despite the $600+ price tag. The features are not executed well, though for the most part they function as the manufacturer intended. Pros: Color matches our new kitchen, adjustable water stream (full water or spray), finger-touch on-off system, light indicating actual water temperature coming out of nozzle. Cons: Accumulates brown water spots within minutes, on-off handle is very sensitive and hard to adjust to desired water pressure (probably because it is so small), one-touch system often turns off water flow when you grab the nozzle to pull it down to spray out the sink. Last comment about the one-touch on-off system. Even if it were to work as desired, it would be a bad idea to get this feature on a faucet if you have more than one person using the kitchen at a time. The temperature/flow setting my wife uses is different from the setting I use, so we find that we have to constantly adjust the pressure and the temperature when we are both in the kitchen. This makes the poor ergonomics/ oversensitivity of the smaller temperature control/flow rate control handle rather annoying. If we had to do it again, we would probably buy something with a better on/off handle, and not worry about the one-touch feature.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work I have many Delta faucets in our new home which all work great but the touch faucet is more annoying then useful. We have two touch faucets one in our kitchen and the other in the prep kitchen and they both don't work. They constantly shuts off when I need it on. Sometimes I have to tap it many times to get it to even come on and then as I am using it will shut off the water before I want it to shut off. We also had to replace the batteries after only a few months and when the battery goes out you have no water. I wish I would have gotten the no touch faucet it would have been less of a hassle. It was a waste of money.

Housing for the batteries is so cheap I have to use a rubber band to keep it together. The idea of a touch to turn it on and off is great but the quality of the product needs improvement. The customer service is excellent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love and hate relationship I've had this faucet for a couple years now and i love the touch feature and looks of this...my only gripe is that since day one there has been a lot of play in the handle and it doesn't move smoothly especially considering the price...i forget about for a while until i need to use the handle...its also seems like there is steep learning curve compared to standard non touch20 faucets. You'll no what I'm talking about when you have guests over that like to help out in the kitchen...

It looks great, operates perfectly, and is so easy to use - just a simple touch with a finger, wrist, forearm turns it on which has been especially fantastic during this pandemic and having the need to wash our hands constantly.

We have had this faucet for ~ 2.5 years and had to replace the solenoid that controls the one touch feature after 18 months of using it. 6 months later and now it it is failing again. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. I am ready to take it out and replace it with another brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Touch Feature Didn't work and warranty help was a joke We bought one of these for a new construction home. The plumbers installed it carefully and properly. The touch feature did not work. They came back and adjusted it and it still didn't work. They have installed this model before and know how to properly install it. I called and emailed Delta, and sent multiple photos of the installed faucet, per their request in the case. I waited weeks for a promised response before calling yet again. Their warranty help was awful. They eventually said they would send a replacement part but not a replacement faucet. I asked what happens if the part didn't' fix the problem, they said they would do nothing more because the faucet still worked manually. If we had wanted a manual faucet, we would not have bought a touch unit for considerably more money. It was a bad experience. I am a purchaser for a custom home builder. I will stay away from this product going forward, and probably other Delta products also.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet but doesn’t function properly I saw this faucet in champagne gold and had to have it in my new kitchen. It was the center of my design. I love the look but the touch feature has never worked probably from the day we got it. I have called Delta customer service several times and have done what they have told me, it works for a day and then stops. It is disappointing because I spent so much more for the touch option that we had to disconnect I order to be able to have a working faucet in my new kitchen. I still like the design just wished I didn’t spend an extra $250 for a feature that doesn’t function. I recently just did my bathroom and choose a different brand because of what happened. Disappointed to say the least.

In 8 months since we've moved in (this is a new build) we have replaced the batteries going on 5 times now. There are only 2 of us living in the house so it's not like it's being used excessively. The website says batteries should last 1-2 years. When I called to talk to someone they said "it definitely wasn't normal to have to replace the batteries this often but they couldn't guarantee the life of the battery". I understand that, however five times is very excessive so it seems to me something is wrong with the faucet. The solution I was given was to purchase different batteries or if my sink had an outlet I could get a plug accessory for it. BY THE WAY....every time the batteries go out I lose full access to running water in my kitchen....can't cook or clean until the batteries are replaced.

What is the difference between champagne bronze and brilliance champagne bronze? I have seen the &quot;brilliance version&quot; available on another site but don't even see it listed here. Thank you.

If additional cleaning is required the following products are safe to use on all Delta Faucet finishes, when used according to the manufacturers&rsquo; instructions for use: Formula 409&reg; Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner Fantastik&reg; All-Purpose Cleaner Windex&reg; Original Glass Cleaner Other gentle all-purpose or multi-surface cleaners may also be used. Cleaning. Mineral build up

I have this trinsic kitchen faucet in champagne bronze. The end of the faucet on the bronze finish is starting to develop mineral build up. What should I clean this with? I have had this product for one year. Thank you.

Hi, Meghan, Thank you for your question. We recommend to clean with 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution mix. Here is more suggestions from our FAQ: Always blot dry any water from faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409&reg; Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik&reg; All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex&reg; Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. I am looking for a filtered water faucet in the same style and finish since they will be mounted right next to each other. Does Delta make anything?

Hi Digitron6, Thank you for your question. We offer 2 styles of beverage faucets. The model 1914-CZ-DST which has a traditional style and the 1977-CZ-DST which has a transitional design. Neither are an exact match for the Trinsic model 9159T-CZ-DST. Thanks, Dave

My Delta Touch faucet quit working altogether. The touch and the handle. I replaced the batteries and now the handle works, but not the touch of the neck. The model number on the Faucet is X00074950. What do I need to do to get it working?
