We had a Delta "Essa" model in our previous home and while these two models are roughly the same price, I would rate the Essa much higher on appearance, feel, and function. I installed the Essa myself and felt it was a quality piece. The Leland is a little ornate for my taste, and I don't care for the feel of the handle. The range of motion is small and as others have indicated, not easy to shut off completely. I highly recommend the Essa. I not so highly recommend the Leland.

It works but the regular sprayer comes out as two lines of spray instead of an even circular spray and once it hits your plate or cup the water sprays all over. The "Splash Guard" spray feature doesn't splash but it is not effective, the spray is too "soft".

After two years, we got a slow drip from the faucet itself, and after three years, we are now getting drips from who knows where into the cabinet below. This was professionally installed, so installation was not a problem. I think this is just a cheaper model of their more expensive one, but it doesn't pay to go cheap. Will be looking into the lifetime warranty. Hoping they will honor it.

Makes the kitchen look updated. I like how it works as well. I wanted the magnetic docking, as I figure that over the years it will continue to be effective.

Can I install the Leland beneath a cabinet with 16” clearance between the counter top and cabinet?  If necessary, can the swan neck be detached from the body/handle assembly?

The spout can be removed, however, the body of the faucet has a brass piece with a friction spacer to help hold the spout on, and it will require more space to attach the spout properly without causing any damage to the faucet or the countertop.
