Rated 2 out of 5 by from Temperature Adjustment: VERY DIFFICULT I bought this as part of my kitchen remodel about a month ago. I debated between a Moen faucet and this Leland by Delta. All those reviews that complained about how difficult it is to adjust the water temperature were spot on!!! There is a wide range for scalding your hands and a wide range for freezing off your fingers, but there is barely a range for nice, warm water for washing dishes or hands. All of the other features work fine and I do like the look of the faucet. But I would not purchase this again.

Love the size- it reaches farther into the sink than our previous one, so no more water splashing all over the counter. I also love the magnetic feature of the removable spout, so it sticks together no matter what. The three different streams are great. The only downside is that they are so fun, my preschoolers think the faucet is their own personal toy and want to play with it all the time! So much for the whole no-more-water-on-the-counter bonus ;o)

I see where you have answered the question about the difference between Model 9178 and 9678. What is the difference between those and Model 19978?

Hello Kathy 61, Thank you for your question. The Delta Leland Pull-Down 19978-SS-DST faucet is a Home Depot exclusive model and it is similar to the Leland 9178-AR-DST faucet. fawcet is leaking do you have repair kit

Hi, tttt! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. There is a bonnet nut that is holding the cartridge down, underneath your handle. We recommend to tighten the bonnet nut to stop the leak. To do this, turn the water off at your shut off valve. Remove the handle. Pull the cartridge out to clean the bottom puck of the cartridge. Reinstall the cartridge assembly. Tighten the bonnet by turning clockwise, to the right. Install the handle back on and turn the water back on. Test the faucet. If the faucet still leaks, we recommend to replace both the valve cartridge assembly, RP50587, and the bonnet nut, RP51503. What is the tubing for the pull-out spray made of? I am concerned about the materials as the drinking water is now being consumed from this spray.

Does arctic stainless water spot?

I have the Delta Leland touch faucet 9178 TAR DST. Can it still work when the batteries go dead

Hi LID, Thank you for your question! The light will flash red when the batteries are low. You can remove the batteries while the water is running to switch to manual mode. You can also turn the faucet off with the handle, disconnect the solenoid, and connect the hose directly to the faucet to bypass the solenoid. Best regards, Jon

Is there a method to keep the Leland faucet centered on the plate provided to cover the extra sink holes? Mine keeps sliding all over the place leaving a gaping grin were it fits onto the cover plate.

We recommend to tighten the mounting nut for the faucet, under the sink to secure. You may also use a bit of silicon sealant around the plate at the sink base to secure the plate. I plan to replace my kitchen faucet with the Leland 9178-AR-DST. The 9178 spec sheet indicates that the temperature handle movement is from centerline of the body away from the sink. The Q&A seems to contradict this. Please clarify?

Hello TomA1, Thank you for your question. The handle of the Delta Leland Pull-down Kitchen 9178-AR-DST faucet operates by moving/pushing it away/outwards from the faucet to turn on the cold water. Rotating the handle towards the back to adjust for warm and hot water. Best regards, Tanya
