Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Satisfied and it's a Waste of Money. The faucet had a modern design. Unfortunately, when I installed the faucet I was surprised the way the Standard Flow of water was very "LOW". I do not know what's wrong with my new faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn’t last long Needed a new cartridge after a year. Delta said they would only supply 1 for the life of the faucet. A year later the new one is failing and the screw to remove the handle to replace the $50 cartridge has seized so the faucet need to be replaced. Garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Cut Above Great faucet, so easy to maneuver, love the bronze color. Also have the soap dispenser, and a lot of new faucets do not come with soap dispensers, and if you have had a previous one that could be a problem. I can definitely tell it is well made and worth the additional money we spent. You can shop the big box stores but their faucets will all be builder grade (low end). Kick it up a notch or two or three and go with a faucet that’s going to perform better and longer.

My Delta 9178-DST Leland Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet, Chrome keeps dripping after we trun it off. What part or paerts do we need to replace to stop the dripping?

Asked by: Doey
Hi Doey, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! It is possible that a flush could resolve this issue with the LELAND® Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet MODEL#: 9178-DST. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold-water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut-off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the fully open middle position, and then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and repeat with the second line. If this does not help, please let us know. Please reach out with further questions! Best Regards, Kelley Digital Communications Specialist

Los water flow how to fix

Asked by: Jimmy47
Hi Valued Customer, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! We apologize for the issues you are experiencing and we are happy to help! To verify where the low flow is coming from, we would like to flush the aerator to remove any excess debris. 1. Please remove the aerator in the spout with your aerator wrench. This piece may be blue with little legs on it. 2. Once removed, turn the water on for about a minute or so. 3. Install the aerator. 4. Remove the wand from the hose and turn the faucet on for 1 minute to flush the lines and see if you get good flow out of the end of the hose. 5. Gather some towels and a 5-gal bucket or large bowl, remove the blue clip connected to the faucet in the cabinet, and pull the hose off. 6. Turn the water on and flush for about a minute. 7. Finally, reattach everything and test the flow rate from the wand again. We appreciate your feedback. Please reach out directly if you have further questions! How to fix a water leak from the spout end on Leland #9178-DST. Also, do you need a special tool to remove the set screw on the handle?

Asked by: Glenn
Hi Glenn, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! We apologize for the issues you are experiencing and are happy to help! To fix a drip the RP50587 will need to be replaced. Please shut off the water supplies, and gather your 1/8" allen wrench, wrench, and strap wrench before we begin. Check your model's parts diagram for the correct part number. Common cartridges include RP50587, RP73000, or RP60114. 1. Shut off the water supplies. 2. Cover the drain opening so parts don't fall into it. 3. If you have a lever handle with a red and blue hot/cold button, pry it off with a non-metal object to expose the set screw. A library card works well. 4. Loosen the set screw with a 1/8" hex wrench and remove the handle. 5. Unscrew the trim cap counterclockwise and lift off. Some caps just lift off if unscrewing has no effect. 6. Remove the bonnet nut with an adjustable wrench by turning it counterclockwise. Be careful - the bonnet nut may have sharp edges. 7. Remove the valve cartridge, making sure the bottom gasket came out with it. 8. Inspect the valve cartridge for debris. 9. Install a new valve cartridge, aligning tabs on its bottom with divots in the valve. 10. Place the bonnet nut over the cartridge and align the threads. Be careful - the bonnet nut may have sharp edges. The spout may need adjusting to get threads lined up. 11. Tighten the bonnet nut with an adjustable wrench watching that the cartridge does not shift. Tighten to about 10 pounds of force on a 10" adjustable wrench. 12. Replace the trim cap. 13. Replace the handle, lining up the set screw with the flat on the cartridge stem. 14. Replace the set screw cover, if you had one. Uncover the drain and turn the water supplies back on. We appreciate your inquiry. Please reach out directly if you have further questions! Best Regards, Kyra Digital Engagement Specialist

I have the 9178-RB-DST faucet. it is 2018 mfg, and is dripping slowly in the off position. 1, Is there an adjustment? 2, do I need a new cartridge or other parts? 3, is there an assembly/parts diagram available?

Asked by: TimS
Hi Tims, thank you for your interest in the 9178-RB-DST! We recommend flushing the faucet to resolve the issue. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance.
