Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this faucet I started with the same faucet design in a different finish. Then when getting new countertops, we switched to a stainless steel sink. I was happy to find the same faucet in a finish which paired with my new sink.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Satisfied and it's a Waste of Money. The faucet had a modern design. Unfortunately, when I installed the faucet I was surprised the way the Standard Flow of water was very "LOW". I do not know what's wrong with my new faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn’t last long Needed a new cartridge after a year. Delta said they would only supply 1 for the life of the faucet. A year later the new one is failing and the screw to remove the handle to replace the $50 cartridge has seized so the faucet need to be replaced. Garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Cut Above Great faucet, so easy to maneuver, love the bronze color. Also have the soap dispenser, and a lot of new faucets do not come with soap dispensers, and if you have had a previous one that could be a problem. I can definitely tell it is well made and worth the additional money we spent. You can shop the big box stores but their faucets will all be builder grade (low end). Kick it up a notch or two or three and go with a faucet that’s going to perform better and longer.

I have this faucet and the water output is very very very slow. About like pouring coffee from the pot into a cup. Removing the delivery head creates much more flow but there doesn’t appear to be any debris in the head. What can be done?

Asked by: Dave
Hi Dave, thank you for your interest in the 9178-SP-DST! To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. my 9178 ar dst kitchen faucet is approx. 2 yrs. old, no longer have good water pressure

Asked by: lee d
Hello Lee! Reduced flow is typically caused by debris. Generally, there is debris in the supply line. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the middle position, fully open, then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line. Repeat this process for the cold water supply line and turn on both supplies. Check flow from the faucet. If this does not help, please let us know. Best Regards, Frank
