Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delta 9197 Faucet It is a bit larger than we thought reaching past the center drain. Beautiful faucet tho!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install Works well, you will need normal water pressure to get the water blast feature to work correctly though. We are on a well and the water shield around the blast stream just splashes everywhere instead of preventing it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t let the commercials fool you.. This faucet is NOT what you think it is. It’s temperamental to the touch and only works when certain sections of it are touched. It eats batteries like pac-man eats dots. You might be in the middle of washing something off and it suddenly stops. We would give it less than 1 star if possible. The company that did our kitchen has stopped selling it they’ve had so many complaints. What a rip off.

does this faucet come with the option of being hands free? if so how much and would it be electric?

Asked by: suzie
Hello Suzie, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Cassidy Pull-Down Kitchen 9197-PN-DST faucet is not designed to have the Touch2O Technology, you would need the model 9197T-PN-DST. https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/9197T-PN-DST Best regards, Tanya

One of the reviews mentioned a battery...does this faucet have a battery and what is it for? thanks.

Asked by: Alice
Thank you for your question, Alice! This faucet does not take batteries. The Touch2O version of the faucet, model 9197T-AR-DST, takes 6 AA or 6 C batteries to operate the touch feature. https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/9197T-AR-DST Best regards, Jon

We recently got this faucet and when you switch the button from spray to stream and vice verse it still drips or sprays a little of the opposite option. If I go and push the button harder it will fix the problem. I’m concerned that eventually it won’t.

Asked by: Annette
Hi, Annette! Thank you for your question. If the sprayer assembly is experiencing cross flow, water coming out of both spray and stream on the sprayer of the 9197-DST, we recommend to soak the sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution for an hour or even overnight. If this does not solve the issue, we recommend to replace the sprayer assembly, RP72680. If you should need assistance with a replacement, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best Regards, Rosanna

I purchased the Cassidy faucet last year before the Spray Shield was offered. Is it possible to order just the new spray shield nozzle part and switch it out? If so, is it easy to switch out and do I order it?

Asked by: Leslie3416
Thank you for your question, Leslie! You can purchase and install the RP90839 Wand Assembly with ShieldSpray on an existing 9197-DST faucet. Installation is as easy as unscrewing the original wand from the hose and screwing the new one back on. This part can be purchased online or over the phone at 1-800-345-3358. Best regards, Jon

Is there a way to switch this faucet so the spray goes back to regular flow when turned off and on?

Asked by: lise
Thank you for your inquiry, Lise! The spray modes on the model 9197-DST work on a toggle type switch. You will move the switch between the stream and spray modes. When you turn the water off it will remain in whatever mode you were using. The faucet does not switch back to the stream mode automatically. Best regards, Tanya

Asked by: marianne
Hi Marianne! Thank you for your question. The spout assembly of the Delta Cassidy Pull-Down Kitchen 9197-AR-DST faucet swivels 360 degrees. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-9197-DST%20Rev%20C.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Can this faucet be installed with the control on the left?

Asked by: Mike h
Thank you for your question, Mike, Thank you for your question. We recommend installing it with the handle on the right. The handle operates by tilting away from the faucet to turn on. The vertical (back) position gives cold water and rotating the handle forward provides hot. Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse the movement, so if the handle is installed on the left, it will rotate backward. Best regards, Jon
