Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks after 2 years, continual replacement This was installed by our builder 6 years ago. I’ve had to replace the valve cartridge 6 times in 6 years, because it leaks. Delta gives us free replacement cartridges, which is helpful, but now the Allen nut that attaches the handle to the valve is jammed, so I can’t replace it anymore. It’s a plastic valve cartridge that wears out very quickly, and clearly a known issue for Delta, since they’ve sent me 5 replacement cartridges over the years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy install, great magnetic docking. Have owned the Leland kitchen faucet for 3 years. It matches all the Leland faucets in my bathrooms. Could only cut off water from cold side. When cut off from middle or hot it would leak. Lived with it for 3 years and finally solved last week by replacing cartridge. Delta recommended flushing supply lines but my plumber felt cartridge would solve problem and it did. Sorry I waited so long to get it repaired. Delta has always provided great customer service and free replacement parts for all faucets and shower valves over the 16 years I have owned my home. I highly recommend Delta products.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice looking faucet, but problems I have owned this faucet for about a year, and while it looks nice and seems to operate just fine, it is extremely difficult to get it in the off position where it will not drip. It has a tiny little spot where it doesn’t drip. We have weekend guests at our house and they commented how difficult it is to turn off the kitchen faucet without it dripping. I have thought for a long time about replacing it and their comment spurred me on to just ditch the thing. Life is too short to live with that faucet.

There is a piece of black plastic in the lever assembly with four tabs that hold the cylindrical trim on the lever snug to the counter, These tabs break easily. The plastic piece cannot be replaced without buying the entire expensive metal trim. Bad design. It costs upwards of $60 to replace the assembly just to fix a 10 cent piece of plastic. Delta does give the option of buying the cheap plastic insert.

We replaced the batteries, did a reset, now it barely comes on - there is no pressure, We checked all the things it could be to no avail so we had to put it back into manual mode. I read this on other reviews prior to purchasing but thought we’d get lucky. I should have known better.

It started to leak about 2 months ago and is getting progressively worse. For a kitchen faucet to be leaking in so short a time is totally unacceptable. P.S. I'm a retired retired mechanical engineer, so I know what I'm talking about.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Design & Ease of Use & Quality I bought this approx. 9+ years ago and it has serviced us well. It's so easy to use. The only issue we've had was about a yr. ago, water was dripping. We didn't know it had a cartridge. After speaking with St. Tammany Supply where we purchased, we were told it probably needed a replacement cartridge. The recommended a plumber and the same day, he came out and replaced for us. Probably could do it ourselves when needed. The first one lasted about 8+ yrs. - Found out on other bathroom faucets there's a key to remove strainer for cleaning. Today, checking with St.Tammany Supply, they had a key for the bathroom faucets. Wow worked like a jewel. No more toothbrushes to try to clean upside down. Hopefully, there's a key for this one, if not, will have to check assembly. Hats off to Delta. Ours looks as good as the day they were installed with the Nickle finish.

The "sleeve assembly" for the handle includes an incredibly cheap/weak plastic piece that breaks easily and results in non-ability to properly secure the assembly to the countertop. Check reviews for RP51481 and see for yourself. 2. Plan on going through multiple cartridges. Again, check on reviews of RP50587.

Model 978-DST. Cannot remove the bonnet to replace the cartridge..Used suggested 1 5/16 socket. Cannot break it loose from the base. Some help please. Thanks.

Hello, I apologize for the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to help you. We recommend wrapping a cloth soaked in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water around the bonnet. faucet handle spins all the way around

I attempted to adjust this faucet handle as it was causing the faucet to leak somewhat. when i removed the set screw holding the faucet on and then retightened the scew the faucet handle now feels loose and spins 360 degrees. im looking to get this repaired but im not sure if i need a new handle or if it is the cartridge the handle goes onto that needs to be replaced.

Hi jasimek, Thank you for your question. It sounds like either the set screw is not tight enough, or the screw is not in contact with the stem portion of the dst cartridge. Make sure the cartridge is seated properly, and that the bonnet and sleeve assembly are tightened correctly. The handle set screw should attach to the cartridge stem on the flat portion of the stem preventing the handle from spinning. I know the pull-down sprayer will cover 360 degrees; but, does the spout rotate?

I have a Delta 978-DST kitchen faucet and the handle is getting worn out.  I don't have the small allen wrench it appears I would need to replace the worn parts in the handle.  Do you have this tool?

Really 2.5" min clearance to backsplash (4" high)? Want to replace a Moen Aberdeen with your Leland 978-DST. The Moen fits fine with 2" clearance from faucet midpoint to backsplash. Why can't I use 978-DST with same 2" center to backsplash clearance?

what size garden hose aerator adapter should i buy?   i need to hook an aquarium garden hose to the faucet head.  13/16 does not fit.  its too small.

Hello tanya101! Thank you for your question. We only offer one aerator adapter, RP51505. This adapter converts 21.5X 1-6 g metric thread to 55/64”-27 standard thread. The magnetic head and spray hose.  Is this supposed to retract completely on its own?  New installation, everything ok. Hose retracts to plastic spray head. I have to push head into faucet to seal.  Thank you.
