Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy with this faucet This faucet is very difficult to get the water to turn off. The handle has to be in the exact right position or the faucet drips. Now, the head of the faucet is having issues and the water flow is not coming out as strongly as it should be. It is also difficult to get the water temperature correct. I would have returned it if it wasn't so difficult to install.

Now I need to get an updated kitchen sink to match the faucet. The water pressure, however, seems to be a little less than my other one. I like the decorative style of this faucet.

The buttons for spray are too easy to push accidentally, the faucet head is too low, neither spray is useful to me, and there is only one flow selection for the non-spray mode. I like the non-spot finish, but that's it. Would not buy it again for those reasons.

The cons have been that it’s hard to shut off completely and will drip unless it’s shut off from the cold side. It started squeaking when it was turned off and on about 2 months after install.

When you shut it off it still drips. Delta did send out a new cartridge right away but I am going to have to replace it every 6-9 months. That is not acceptable

I prefer the regular spray. 2) I would like to have a way to stop the water flow w/o altering the hot/cold mix (e.g., for rinsing a variety of dishware, utensils, etc.) Particularly with the "oval" shape of the handle movement, a flow interrupter would be great. Would recommend to a friend with a few minor reservations.

I like this faucet, BUT THE ONE WEAK LINK is the plastic clip that attaches the faucet outlet to the hose. I had the clip also bound by 2 tie wraps to keep it from coming apart (as was recommended in online reviews). This morning we had a flood under the sink as the clip popped off from pulling out the spray hose (even with the tie wraps). I called Delta and they are sending me a new clip, as they said the original clip may have been faulty. Delta needs to design a better clip to keep the hoses together (hopefully a locking clip). Very nice faucet other than the clip issue. I would not recommend this faucet to others unless the clip design is improved.

The setup was pretty easy and I liked the fact that a wrench was included in box to make it easier to tighten the faucet to the sink. The only negative I have is I wish the hot and cold water lines were aluminum and not plastic tubes but I was till able to make it work.

Model 978-DST. Cannot remove the bonnet to replace the cartridge..Used suggested 1 5/16 socket. Cannot break it loose from the base. Some help please. Thanks.

Hello, I apologize for the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to help you. We recommend wrapping a cloth soaked in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water around the bonnet. faucet handle spins all the way around

I attempted to adjust this faucet handle as it was causing the faucet to leak somewhat. when i removed the set screw holding the faucet on and then retightened the scew the faucet handle now feels loose and spins 360 degrees. im looking to get this repaired but im not sure if i need a new handle or if it is the cartridge the handle goes onto that needs to be replaced.

Hi jasimek, Thank you for your question. It sounds like either the set screw is not tight enough, or the screw is not in contact with the stem portion of the dst cartridge. Make sure the cartridge is seated properly, and that the bonnet and sleeve assembly are tightened correctly. The handle set screw should attach to the cartridge stem on the flat portion of the stem preventing the handle from spinning. I know the pull-down sprayer will cover 360 degrees; but, does the spout rotate?

I have a Delta 978-DST kitchen faucet and the handle is getting worn out.  I don't have the small allen wrench it appears I would need to replace the worn parts in the handle.  Do you have this tool?

Really 2.5" min clearance to backsplash (4" high)? Want to replace a Moen Aberdeen with your Leland 978-DST. The Moen fits fine with 2" clearance from faucet midpoint to backsplash. Why can't I use 978-DST with same 2" center to backsplash clearance?

what size garden hose aerator adapter should i buy?   i need to hook an aquarium garden hose to the faucet head.  13/16 does not fit.  its too small.

Hello tanya101! Thank you for your question. We only offer one aerator adapter, RP51505. This adapter converts 21.5X 1-6 g metric thread to 55/64”-27 standard thread. The magnetic head and spray hose.  Is this supposed to retract completely on its own?  New installation, everything ok. Hose retracts to plastic spray head. I have to push head into faucet to seal.  Thank you.
