Dear Aclmark, Thank you for your question. Delta does not recommend and advises that no polishes or coatings should be used on any of our finishes. The cleaning care directions from the warranty states: Always blot dry any water from faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Hi Carly, Thank you for your question. The model 9178-RB-DST comes with an aerator with a flow rate of 1.8 gpm. You can order RP53998 which is a 2.2 gpm aerator to raise the flow rate for this particular model. None of our pull down faucets come with a flow rate of 2.2 gpm. Thanks, Dave

Hi, Mike! Thank you for your question. The rubber nubs can be cleaned by running your finger over the face of the sprayer. If you need to clean the sprayer because of low flow, you can take a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution and soak the whole sprayer in the solution for an hour or even overnight to clean. We attempt to minimize variations in color by utilizing certain control methods; however, differences in sizes, shapes and materials of individual faucet parts can occasionally produce slight variations in color that are rarely noticeable to the human eye in certain lighting, despite the controls we have in place. You may install it with the handle on the front or left side, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You can compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button will no longer indicate the correct temperature. Best regards, Tanya

Dear Penny, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend disassembling the sprayer assembly. To dissolve any sediment that may collect in the aerator or spray face, just soak the face of the spray assembly in a 50/50 or stronger mixture of white vinegar and tap water for 10 to 15 minutes. The large particles of debris are caught in the bottom end of the spray assembly, where it connects to the hose. Just unscrew the spray assembly from the hose assembly and flush the debris out with water from the hose. Best regards, Tanya
