Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great faucet I have the same one on my back porch. I like it so much that I picked it for my kitchen upgrade. It's so pretty and runs flawlessly. It parks nicely. No drips or other problems. Fauce direct provides excellent customer service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointed I bought this faucet in December and installed it in January. I have been in my home for 44 years and have had to replace faucets several times. Never have I been so disappointed in a faucet. It looks pretty enough, and it fit what I had wanted as far as style, but the flow is disgusting. While waiting for my sink to fill so I can wash dishes, I can vacuum the entire kitchen. Any motivation to decrease the flow in faucets, if that's really how Delta plans to answer my complaints, has likely been done by humans, who don't have the day-to-day responsibilities of cooking, washing, cleaning. Reduced flow does not save water. It wastes my time!!!!! I was also very disappointed in the previous reviews and wonder if they are done by people, who don't actually use this faucet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I LOVE this faucet! I love this faucet, but I have had some issues. I love how this faucet works. Operation has always been smooth. The magnetite system actually works. The sprayer is great. The soap dispenser is well ok, but it matches. It was very easy to install. I purchased this 9/14/2014. Up until the past 6 months I have had no complaints. Now it is becoming increasingly difficult to shut off. As another reviewer stated, you have to put the water on full; handle straight up. Then pull straight down quickly. If you hit it just right, the water stops. If you are just a little off, it will continue to drip and sometimes pour. I contacted delta and they sent me a replacement part within a week at no cost to me! WOW, a company that actually stands by their products. Customer service as it should be; absolutely zero hassle. I could not have been more impressed. Would I recommend it? Yes, because of Delta customer service, absolutely. I'm only giving it four stars because the handle cartridge started to fail after four and a half years. I've had other Delta products that are still going strong after fifteen plus years. I really do love this faucet. Thank you Delta.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Leland 978-SSSD-DST We renovated our kitchen 10 years ago, this kitchen faucet was our top choice- fit our decor perfectly and we still really like it. Unfortunately, it doesn’t shut off all the way unless you fiddle with the handle just right. We’d love to keep this faucet - can anything be done?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet but leaks We’ve been in our home 6 years and already have a leaking faucet. If you do not have the handle in a certain position, the faucet will leak. After doing research, this is a common issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Faucet with Separate Handle Have just installed this faucet and it is working well. One curious thing is that the handle moves very little between hot and cold - almost not at all. This means you need a fine touch to select temps between all-hot and all-cold. However, it doesn't seem to be much of a problem and something we'll definitely get used to pretty quickly. Also, if the spray is selected and then you turn the water off, it will come back on as a spray. My prior faucet didn't do this, when it turned back on it was full-stream. I preferred the full-stream deal, but that's just a personal choice I expect. Appears to be heavy-duty and the finish is very nice. To be perfectly frank, we ordered this because it was pretty much the only one we could find where the handle is not part of the faucet. We have granite counter tops and have 3 holes which were used for faucet, handle and soap dispenser. That's the type of replacement we wanted so we wouldn't have a random hole we had to plug, which totally changes the nice finished look of a granite counter top. Based on my online research, this is a common complaint and concern for people replacing a faucet. I can't imagine why the heck manufacturers don't provide that option anymore. Time will tell if this is a durable item, I have no comments on that at this point. My prior Moen lasted almost 10 years and I'm hoping to get at least that much out of this one.

What is the difference between stainless steel finish, and artic finish. I am interested in the Leland faucet. Thank you

Asked by: Bosco
Hi Bosco, Thank you for your question. There is a slight difference in the finishes of Artic Stainless and Stainless Steel. Artic Stainless more closely resembles the stainless steel appliances that are available for the kitchens in todays markets. It has a bluish tint to it. Stainless Steel has a golder tone to it and more closely matches finishes in the bathroom. Thanks, Dave

Soap dispenser leaks from the spout. How can I fix this?

I did not install this faucet, it was in place when I bought my apartment but looks fairly new and the faucet works like a charm! However the soap dispenser needs to be pumped 4-5 times for soap to come out (the bottle is full of soap) and then after dispensing, it slowly leaks onto the sink. How can this be fixed? Thank you!
Asked by: Marin
Hi Marin, We are sorry that you are experiencing a problem with your soap dispenser. It sounds like the pump assembly is not working properly. Unfortunately the pump assembly is not available as a separate item. The entire RP50813 soap dispenser will need to be replaced. Thanks, Dave

Is the soap dispenser top load or under the sink?

Asked by: Gail
the soap dispenser is a top load - you need to wait before putting the dispenser back on in order to allow air bubbles to surface

Why is the water pressure so much lower with this new faucet and how can I fix that?

Asked by: Rick
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 978-SSSD-DST has a flow rate of 1.8 gpm at 60 psi. This is the flow rate that adheres to the regulations. We do not recommend trying to increase the water flow.
