Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks good, but drips... Great looking modern faucet that gets lots of compliments. It drips however, and sometimes has a random spray when in standard faucet mode. You have to really press down hard to make sure it is not in spray mode to prevent this. Even when not using the spry mode in awhile, it will randomly drip from it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Big Bar Faucet When we bought this faucet for our bar/counter online, we had never seen one in person. It's a little bigger than we expected. The pipe is very big in circumference, check one out in person first. If we would have known this, we might have shopped around a little more, but online, the style was very sleek and contemporary. It's a pretty cool look and the pull out spray nozzle is very handy for rinsing around the sink rim and filling various items of glassware etc. We had it installed by a knowledgable plumber so I can't share any install horror stories, but after it was in, I took a peek under the counter and it looked simpler than the instructions lead me to believe. I'm not real happy with the touch technology. It's really awesome when it's working with the blue LED "on" light, but sometimes it doesn't work and takes a couple of taps or more to get the water flowing. Sometimes when it's running and I re-adjust the temperature, just touching the handle shuts it off, then I have to touch it again to get the water flowing. The Touch feature should work on everything BUT the handle.Very frustrating, especially if your hands are holding things or they're soapy. This defeats the purpose of the Touch20 feature, right? I've even had it come on when nobody was near it. (The handle was in the open position obviously, as water started flowing) I would suggest making sure the handle is in the shut position if you ever leave the house for any amount of time. I think in hind-sight I would have gone old school and opted out of the Touch2O feature altogether, which is offered on the exact same faucet. As for the handle itself, I think they could have done a little better with the design. There's not much to grab on to, as I would have preferred more of a paddle design to the "stick" on this model. I guess it wouldn't matter much if the Touch20 feature worked 100%, but like it said, it's a little quirky. Maybe I could get better performance if I mess around with the wires, but everything looks clean, well connected and grounded. Who knows. As far as construction and quality, just the feel and mechanical function is top drawer. I don't see any reason why this faucet shouldn't last for many years.

What would be the minimum sink dimensions this bar/prep faucet could reasonably support?

Does the Delta Pivotal escutcheon work with the Trinsic bar faucet?

I would like to issue this faucet in my travel trailer. The water pump provides 3 gal/minute @ 40 psi. Is that sufficient for the faucet to operated properly?

Thank you for your question, Hiker! This unit is currently designed to run at 1.80 GPM at 60 PSI. The faucet will operate at 40 PSI, but you may experience reduced flow rate. Best regards, Jon

My GC installed this faucet. When it's pulled out it just hanges there. What is wrong with it?

The hose assembly of the Delta Trinsic Bar/Prep 9959-DST faucet will hang from the spout, if pulled out, until it is push back up to the magnet at the end of the spout. Our Pull-Out/Down faucet are not designed with retractable hose assemblies. Best regards, Tanya

Can the 6-inch escutcheon RP77702 be used with the 9959-DST faucet?

Hi, Phil! Thank you for your question. The Delta RP77702 escutcheon plate will not fit with the Delta 9959-DST faucet. The only escutcheon plate that will work for this faucet is RP64070. Best Regards, Rosanna

How far does the pull down reach?

Can the handle be moved to the front?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 9959-DST can have the handle moved to the front. Keep in mind that it will make the hot and cold be side to side to operate and pull out to turn on the faucet.

As part of a kitchen remodel, I had the 9959-DST installed. I was running the disposal and the handle came off and got a bit chewed up by the disposal before I could turn it off. I need to replace the handle. What’s the part number I need? Arctic silver?
