Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement faucet This faucet is what I thought it would be. It works well and looks good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A classic. Beautiful, bright and shiney. Operates smooth as silk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faucet has come loose I installed what seems to be the same faucet a couple of years ago and remember there were little, cheap fasteners to hold the faucet to the sink. Now one of those fasteners or other part has broken and I am here looking for warranty information. Didn't last two years without mounting hardware failing. Who doesn't like crawling under the sink to replace a two year old, almost 200 dollar faucet?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As a home owner for over 50 years I have used Delta faucets in kitchen baths and in my work-shop with great service form each . We purchased a new faucet to up-date the design in our kitchen which is undergoing a remodel . The old Delta faucet was still working like new after 20 years of service so it will be re-purposed as the new faucet in my workshop . Delta quality and the Delta support team have keep me a customer for years . Thanks

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One More Thing I would prefer the water flow and spray were integrated instead of having the spray a separate item, but the plumber chose it so it is OK.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice clean look Good water flow and installs fairly easy Have to be very careful when plugging sprayer hose into housing Clip will come lose easily Also, when threading sprayer hose through sleeve (very tight fit) I had to use a little Vaseline But the unit works great

Q&A

I see on the specs that the length from center bolt to center bolt is 8" - but I'm wondering the full length and width (footprint) of the base. Thanks

Asked by: meganF232
Hello MeganF232, Thank you for your inquiry! The escutcheon plate on the Delta Collins Kitchen 340-DST faucet model is a 10" long plate for a 3-hole 8" center to center installation. Best regards, Tanya

My fuucet drips how to stop

Asked by: Monty
Hi, Monty! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. There is a bonnet nut that is holding the cartridge down, underneath your handle. We recommend to tighten the bonnet nut to stop the leak. To do this, turn the water off at your shut off valve. Remove the handle. Tighten the bonnet by turning clockwise, to the right. Install the handle back on and turn the water back on. Test the faucet. If the unit still leaks, we would recommend to replace both the valve cartridge assembly, RP50587, and the bonnet nut, RP51503. Best Regards, Rosanna

I need a diverter clip for a 340 DST

Asked by: Mary775

I believe I have a 340 faucet. Need to replace valve elements you no longer sell (RP6044, RP61, RP70, RP4993, RP25). Is there a cartridge you sell for this? If so can you provide me the number and tell me if an adaptor is needed? Installed in 2004.

Asked by: Dave123
Hi Dave123, thank you for your interest in the RP50587! The replacement cartridge is RP50587 for 340-DST. If your faucet was installed in 2004 you will need an RP3614 repair kit or RP4993 seats and springs. Please view the part in the link below. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts/product/RP50587.html Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Why do I hear a clonking sound every time I turn it on? This happens when I move the lever to turn it on. Its brand new!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Asked by: Bob M
Hello Bob M, Thank you for your question regarding Delta Faucet 340-DST! We apologize this information was not readily available to you and will be happy to assist you! The sound you may be hearing is debris buildup in the faucet. This can easily be resolved by flushing. First, we will try to remove the aerator. 1. Please remove the aerator in the spout by threading counterclockwise. 2. Once removed, turn the water on for about a minute or so. If you still hear the sound, please proceed to the next steps. DST Flush from underneath - This type of flushing requires to be under the sink. *Please gather one 5 GAL bucket and some towels for excess water. 1. Please shut off both hot AND cold water supplies. 2. Remove the COLD water line and point the line into the bucket. 3. Turn the HOT water on and allow the water to flow into the bucket for about a minute. 4. Turn the HOT water back off and install the cold water line correctly. 5. Remove the HOT water line and point the line into the bucket. 6. Turn the COLD water on and allow the water to flow into the bucket for about a minute. 7. Turn the COLD water back off and install the hot water line correctly. At this point, you should not hear any noise from the faucet as this is a full flush for a 340-DST kitchen faucet. We appreciate your inquiry and look forward to better serving you in the future. Please contact us directly with any further questions. Best regards, Kyra Digital Engagement Specialist

My old Delta kitchen faucet allowed the spout to be lifted off so the O rings could be replaced. My Collins faucet swivel is stiff and I can't seem to get the spout off to lubricate it without forcing something. Does it not come off this model?

I have a 340 DST Faucet and just replaced the original cartridge with a RP50587 replmt- the original was leaking. When I turned the water back on, there is no pressure, very little water flows. I have replaced the cartridge twice- same results. Problem?

Asked by: Stan
Hello Stan, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. When the cartridge is replaced on our Delta faucets we recommend flushing. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance. Best Regards, Nicole

My faucet sprayer does not work.  When I press to spray, it works for second and then vibrates and even stops spraying.  It must be the diverter not switching over completely.  Am I correct?  Can I buy a placement part?  I didn’t see it.
