Pullout Faucet- Stand out style!
Updating a 110 year old cabin in MN. There was a kitchen remodel done about 15 years ago and the faucets were worn out. This pullout is a great addition and works so well for the vintage traditional style. We installed at a double sink and an oversized single sink and the owner loves the water pressure, ease of use of the pull out sprayer and the overall design! We appreciate that the parts are solid brass and there is no “zinc or metal like” components.

Disappointing Product - Design Problem
I purchased Model 4353-DST in 2021 and after a year of use, it became hard to swivel. I disassembled the hub assembly and cleaned out all the corrosion, replaced the bottom O-ring, lubricated it and it was fine for a year. When it happened again, I contacted Delta and they sent a replacement faucet. I had to repeat the corrosion cleaning twice on this new one. Today (July 25,2026) I contacted them again. They had me take pictures of the problem. After uploading several photos, they would not replace it. They stated it was caused by water damage and not covered by the limited lifetime warranty. Really, it's a faucet! The problem is caused by the metal used inside the hub, it looks like pot metal or a similar metal that cannot stand up to water. All other parts are brass and heavy duty plastic. They offered to sell me a new one for half price which is $342; their full price is $784! In order to get the required photos I had to disassemble the hub. I cleaned it up again, lubricate the O-rings so I am good for another for a while now. I hope their other faucets are better made.

Poor water pressure
Either by design or defect the water pressure on this faucet is flaccid at best. It is about half the flow of the faucet it replaced. Requests for assistance from customer service has been met with enthusiasm similar to the water pressure.

Great customer service for a failed faucet.
It’s a beautiful faucet however the O ring in the base failed within 4 years. BUT DELTA IS REPLACING IT UNDER WARRANTY. I took a photo and customer service gave me no grief or attitude which I appreciate.

Great Value and outstanding Customer Service.
The push button for water stream broke. Delta sent me a new one for Free. The Customer Service Agent was knowledgeable and very supportive. I did have to text some pictures of the "HUB" an and spray handle.

no longer swivels left-right in under a year
Faucet became difficult to swivel within six months. I have a softener, but it was concreted in place about 1.5 years after installed. No other faucet I have had in the 30 years in this house has done this. Support wanted photos of all the internal parts so they might possibly send parts free. I don't know how or even if this concreted thing can be taken apart after being calcified in place 5+ years. The plumber said it was shot and he would not waste time repairing, but call Delta to see if they will send a free replacement. Nope.

Why do you not show the aerator
Thank you for your question, Buster! Model 4353-AR-DST does not include a removable aerator for the wand. We recommend removing the wand itself to check for debris as well as pouring a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water into the wand for hard water buildup. how to replace the pull down hose
Thank you for your question, CAROL! The wand will unscrew from the hose first. After the shut off supplies are safely turned off below the counter, you can then discount the clip that holds the hose onto the nipple outlet. Pull the hose straight up from above the counter, twisting occasionally if it gets caught inside, then insert the new hose down into the hub and clip it onto the outlet. Be sure to re-use the hose weight to keep this hose working properly. Now attach the wand and turn the hot and cold water shut off's back on and test the faucet to check for leaks.

I have this unit and was changing sinks. When I reinstalled it I cannot get the connetion to the pray unit to stop leeking. I must have lost a o ring or something. Is a diagram and service parts available?

Tub Faucet?
Would there be any reason to not use this as a deck mount tub filler for my soaker tub?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Linden Pull-Out 4353-AR-DST is a Single handle Kitchen faucet. This faucet has a maximum flow rate of 1.5 gpm @ 60 PSI and an aerated Multi-Flow feature with maximum 2.2 gpm @ 60 PSI. The flow rate on this Kitchen faucet is no high/great enough to fill a soaker tub.

Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. We recommend to reset the LED light wire and battery pack. To do this, disconnect the LED light wire from the solenoid. Disconnect the battery pack. Wait a full minute. While you are waiting a full minute, you can check batteries and see if they are in good condition, even try new batteries. Make sure they're all in the correct direction and tightly secured in the battery pack. After a full minute, reconnect the LED light wire into the solenoid and then reconnect the battery pack. Wait another full minute. After the full minute, you can then check your faucet and see if the blue light works better. If not, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com.

The RP49835 Mounting Nut is difficult to get off. Do you have a tool to fit this unique nut?

Thank you for your question. The RP49835 mounting nut for the Delta 4353-RB-DST faucet does not require a special tool to be removed. After the screws are removed, we recommend to use just an adjustable wrench or strap wrench to remove the mounting nut the rest of the way.

Is there any way to raise this faucet?
This faucet is great except it is just a little low to get large things under. If it could be raised two inches it would make it perfect.

What material is this made from? Can it start with full stream, instead of water effecient?

When turned on, the faucet will always start in the water efficient stream. The user can then toggle it to the full stream position but when the water is turned off, it will return to the water efficient stream.

HOW TO REMOVE SCREEN TO CLEAN?

Thank you for your question. The Delta 4353-DST faucet aerator is not removable. To clean, we recommend to remove the sprayer from the hose and soak the sprayer assembly in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mix. This can be soaked for an hour or even overnight to clean any debris that maybe in the sprayer.

is handle at an agle on delta 4353 dst

I bought delta 4353 dst and got it installed by the plumber. The handle is at an angle in rest position instead at center. The plumber told me that it is by design. Is this true. Your reply is appreciated.
Hi Chitra, Thank you for your question. The pictured handle orientation is not correct. You should be able to loosen the set screw under the button on the front of the handle, reorient the handle so it lines up properly and retighten the set screw.

4353-DST Faucet chrome finish — does it contain nickel? Nickel allergy here.

The "Brilliance" and chrome finishes all include a layer of nickel as part of the finishing process. These finishes all have other durable layers covering the nickel. With regard to internal components, DST products have no metal exposure at all, therefore no nickel exposure with internal components.

How do you access the handle set screw on a Linden Single Faucet?
After 4 years, the handle on my Linden Single Handle Kitchen Faucet has started to loosen up. I see that there is a cap/cover over what I believe to be the set screw. Just looking for a little advice on best way to remove this, to avoid damage to the cap or the screw behind it.

I see you state the Delta 4353-DST is not compatible with RO water. Why is that? Is there are rebuild kit for the same kitchen faucet?

Does the pull out “wand assembly” have a water shut-off button? That is, can you shut the water flow completely OFF from the wand assembly?

can it swivel from one sink to the other sink?
Can it rotate?
After 5 years, we had to take the faucet off the sink and take it fully apart to clean corrosion from the inside that was keeping it from swiveling. Now it is functioning like new!
