Rated 2 out of 5 by from Over priced " Average"Faucet 61/2 yrs old, the faucet works just like every other faucet you could buy at a National Home improvement store just costs a lot more. It drips, screws come loose holding the faucet to the sink every time you swivel your faucet. Wish I had read some reviews on this Delta faucet before I had bought it.

This 2nd unit is now squeaking and exhibiting same problem as first unit. Eventually will become hard to swivel. Contractor now refers to subcontractor which hasn't responded.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn’t last Unfortunately this faucet didn’t last three years. It started to randomly drip and I would have to move the handle around to make it stop. It was an ongoing problem. Delta sent a replacement cartridge but I don’t think a faucet should fail in three years. I’m glad it has a warranty but it’s inconvenient to have to take it apart every three years or so to fix it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Diamond coated ceramic valve cartridge leaks We have had this faucet for 5 years. in that time, we have had to replace the "wonderful, lifetime" diamond coated ceramic valve cartridge twice. And we don't even have hard water. I am quite disappointed in this valve cartridge. I have never had any other faucet in which the valve wore out so quickly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall okay The faucet was installed by a licensed plumber, but since day 1 of using the faucet, if I didn't turn the faucet off from the cold side, the faucet would drip/run. The plumber came to double check all connections and said it was all good. Not sure if anyone else has had the same problem but it is rather irritating.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great for 2 years Got this kitchen faucet in the new house since 09/2019. Works great till 11/2021 then it became annoying to close. Needed 2 or 3 times to completely turn off otherwise we will have dripping. Called delta and the rep listened to the issue and ordered a new cartridge to be shipped out right away. 5 stars for delta customer service. Got the new cartridge in a few days and installed it. Now the faucet works like a champ.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stiff Faucet I've had problems with this faucet since my original purchase in Nov 2020. Delta sent a new one in Oct 2021 and it was professionally installed. In Dec 2022 the O ring had to be changed again because the faucet is stiff to move left to right. ( I don't have hard water in my county.) I'm very disappointed in this product and considering trashing it and buying a Moen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from frozen in place My builder installed this faucet in my home (and likely in thousands of others' homes, as this is a national builder). After a couple of years, the faucet no longer swiveled. It was seemingly permanently stuck in one position. I contacted Delta customer service, expecting to be sent a replacement faucet. Instead, I was sent...a washer. Given that I have no plumbing expertise, I was forced to hire a plumber. I didn't want to pay him to take everything apart just to swap out a washer, so I bought a competitor's faucet instead. (My plumber noted that the competitor's products are better than Delta anyway.) I will never purchase another Delta product.

Home Depot will take it back. I purchased a Moen replacement at that HD store. Plumber to install the Morn on Monday.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice design but not holding up to use. We had this faucet installed with our kitchen remodel in 2016. Five years later, I find that it's trickier to turn off completely without dripping, and now the faucet swivel function has seized completely. I can no longer pivot the faucet, which is really cumbersome when washing large items. Also, the finish on the back of the faucet is corroded. I see several other reviews with the same pivoting and dripping problems, so I hesitate to replace this with the same model. I assume it's a design flaw, not an installation or manufacturing defect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ergonomically great. Comfortable to use. This is a replacement. It's too early to know if my issue was a defect or a design flaw/poor quality. I love the design very comfortable to use. I purchased because of those reasons plus Delta's reputation. The lifetime guarantee said to me that it is a quality product though I did not expect to have to use it! Customer service was helpful and eager to service me. The first faucet was installed Fall 2016. I have a double sink. The faucet "locked" and would not swivel back and forth. After Delta sent me the replacement and before I had it installed by my plumber, it also quit turning off completely. I'll not that I don't have a big family or number of persons using it. It's primarily myself. I use my kitchen daily as I do cook daily. With that said, as a senior, I've not ever had to replace a whole faucet. I give it a star for the ergonomic design and a star for the great customer service. I'll also note that it did cost me $200 to have the replacement installed. I hope this one lasts.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from prolonged leaking when turning off Delta faucet purchased when doing kitchen remodel early in 2012. Loved how it worked until mid summer 2017 when it began leaking occasionally when turning off unless you moved the lever just right and gradually got worse. Replaced RP50587 valve assembly and it worked great for 2 1/2 years when it became difficult to shut off completely without leaking again and moving lever just so; gradually getting worse. Replaced same valve assembly August 2020; this time it began being difficult to shut off completely without leaking soon after so replaced same valve assembly in December 2020, thinking it was a faulty part. It worked properly only a couple months and gradually started having same problems. It seems the more it is used, which is frequently at the kitchen sink, the more difficult it is to completely shut off the stream of water. Now it is truly frustrating and we do not feel like replacing another pricey cartridge. We would like to think it would be more reliable since it is a Delta.

While I'm happy with the style/finish/spray function of the faucet, the swivel function is less than satisfactory; a couple of years in it started getting more difficult to swivel and at this point in time it will only swivel about 10 degrees and now there appears to be very fine metal shavings at the back of the faucet on the counter. We split our time between two homes so this faucet has really only been in use approx. 2 years - very disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A failure! The product worked well for four months. A week ago the hot water side gave a tiny stream on each of the three "settings." The cold water side worked well, except the third position gave exactly the same stream of water that the second position gave - for both hot and cold. Then the flow returned for both hot and cold, but with no increase in flow for the third position. I called the plumbing company that sold and installed it to explain the issue. Two plumbers from the same company came today but claimed it is working properly, and that the third position does not increase flow - it is merely a convenience feature. Since I have no paperwork (the original plumbers from that company kept it), it seems there is noting I can do. Live and learn!

Over the last few months, it has been hard to turn the water off just right so that the spout does not drip. I also don't care for the low spout height but that is more of a preference thing I suppose. The finish has held up nicely.

The previous one was a brushed nickel finish which I preferred over my new arctic stainless but they no longer seem to make. It has a powerful sprayer and there are now 2 setting for the faucet flow on an extra button that was not on my 2013 version. Good faucet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks Great 4353 was an easy install. The Base easily swivels which is needed for a double sink. Faucet looks great and operates easily. The pullout faucet is very good and the hose it has is pliable for convenient use. The only drawback for me is water pressure is not as strong as my previous Delta faucet. However I am still happy with this faucet and its features.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from corrosion our faucet quit swiveling after 4 1/2 years and started leaking around the base if forced, I took it apart and the corrasion was unbelievable I tried to clean it up but didn't come off. I put food grade grease on the moving parts but that lasted only 1 or 2 days. Non of our other faucets are affected so I can only suspect that the brass is of a poor quality

Is there any way to raise this faucet?

This faucet is great except it is just a little low to get large things under. If it could be raised two inches it would make it perfect.

HOW TO REMOVE SCREEN TO CLEAN?

Hi, Jbug! Thank you for your question. The Delta 4353-DST faucet aerator is not removable. To clean, we recommend to remove the sprayer from the hose and soak the sprayer assembly in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mix. This can be soaked for an hour or even overnight to clean any debris that maybe in the sprayer. Best Regards, Rosanna

is handle at an agle on delta 4353 dst

Dear Sir/Madam, I bought delta 4353 dst and got it installed by the plumber. The handle is at an angle in rest position instead at center. The plumber told me that it is by design. Is this true. Your reply is appreciated.

Hi Chitra, Thank you for your question. The pictured handle orientation is not correct. You should be able to loosen the set screw under the button on the front of the handle, reorient the handle so it lines up properly and retighten the set screw. Thanks, Dave

4353-DST Faucet chrome finish — does it contain nickel?  Nickel allergy here.

Thank you for your question MeHere! The "Brilliance" and chrome finishes all include a layer of nickel as part of the finishing process. These finishes all have other durable layers covering the nickel. How can I replace the aerator?
